Potency

Newbie Skilled

Afternoon Delight weed strain is a Sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis, with an approximate ratio of 60/40. It is a mix between Banana Kush, Schrom, and Tangie, which is a result of work by Colorado Seed Inc.

The average THC level ranges between 21% - 24%, which doesn’t seem that strong. Despite its THC level, its effects perfectly correspond to those of potent strains; therefore, it is not the most sensible choice for newbies. As the name says, the best time for consumption is during the afternoon or nighttime; otherwise, it can change all the plans dramatically.

Afternoon Delite strain (alternative name) is not only potent but also presents an astonishing aroma of skunky fruits, piney notes, and a sharp scent of diesel. The taste is even more amazing and diverse because it offers a sweet citrusy, deep piney, and diesel combination. On top of that, many reviewers also report about berry, apple, and banana hints.

Effects

Due to its Sativa leaning origins, Afternoon Delight strain drops a bomb of mellow relaxation, which keeps one almost careless to all the problems around. This long-lasting high provides a pleasant but not sedative relaxation and maintains enough energy to function. At the same time, this state combines with a feeling of euphoria and a boost of creativity. Moreover, all of this usually intends giggles, which makes it even better. On the other hand, don’t forget that it usually causes a couch-lock.

Medical patients also enjoy this strain, as it happens to be a helpful solution for a range of problems. For example, it can relieve stress and chronic fatigue or help with depression and anxiety. Also, it can be quite effective when struggling with nausea and insomnia.

Growing of Afternoon Delight Strain

There are no available offers for seeds purchase on the Internet. Unfortunately for beginning growers, this strain requires some experience and special conditions. It is recommended for more seasoned growers with indoor growing systems, which provide accurate temperature control. The plant produces an average yield in about 56-70 days.

I feel pretty nauseatic whenever I take the bus to work. this is motion sickness that just wouldnt go even with medications. A few puffs of this strain and then I am so good throughout the journey. It is a very good choice because it leaves a banana like aftertaste.
