The Animal Face strain is a rare Sativa-dominant hybrid (60% Sativa/40% Indica) bred through crossing the potent Face Off OG and Animal Mints strains. Even though this cannabis bud may be challenging to find on the market, those who were lucky enough to get the seeds to say that this strain brings amazing satisfaction. The high provided by this weed starts as soon as the first exhale provides a rush of cerebral effects that fill a stoner's mind with pure euphoria and happiness, easing away any negative or racing thoughts and tension. Due to a terpene composition dominated by caryophyllene and bisabolol, Animal Face has a sweet and diesel-like taste. The aroma is more pungent, featuring light notes of pine and diesel as the nugs are burned away. The THC potency in this strain is 19-22%, making the weed suitable for experienced users.

The cannabinoid content is made up of the following chemicals:

  • CBD 0.38-0.62%
  • CBC 0.28-0.9%
  • CBG 0.28-1.02%
  • CBN 0.13-0.15%
  • THCV 0.14-0.83%

Terpene Composition of Animal Face Strain

The Animal Face weed strain contains a rich terpene composition containing caryophyllene and bisabolol as the prevalent ones and is responsible for the fragrance. This cannabis bud boasts a sweet sugary diesel flavor mixed with hints of fresh mint and earth upon exhale. The fragrance is just as delicious, featuring sweet notes complemented by a slight hint of pine and diesel that stoners can notice when the nugs are burned.

Other aromatic molecules in the Animal Face weed include:

  • Carene (0.1%)

Medical Uses & Effects of Weed

The Animal Face strain produces a high that starts almost immediately with a rush of cerebral effects that lifts your mind and leaves you in the sense of euphoria and happiness. This feeling also helps to ease racing thoughts and tension in the body and mind. This euphoric state will soon turn slightly unfocused and stoney, making stoners drift away into total ease and relaxation. As your mind settles down, the body will start to achieve a tingly effect that warms the body from head to toe, leaving smokers down into a state of pure relaxation and ease. Due to these hard-hitting effects and its high THC potency, this marijuana strain is often chosen to soothe symptoms of conditions like:

  • Appetite loss
  • Nausea
  • Chronic pain
  • Arthritis
  • Muscle spasms
  • Cramps

Side effects may appear in those sensitive to weed compounds. Some of the most common are:

  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Dry eyes
  • Fatigue

How to Grow This Strain

The Animal Face cannabis has dense mossy green nugs covered in dark orange hairs and a coating of bright amber crystal trichomes. While the growing window of the strain is between 57 and 68 days, the yield of 10-15 ounces per plant is ready to be harvested in 77 days. Both indoor and our conditions allow Animal Face to reach 30-60 inches in height. Since the strain is rare, it is almost impossible to find the seeds online.

Animal Face Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 19.4 - 22.4%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.38 - 0.62%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.28 - 0.9%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.28 - 1.02%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.13 - 0.15%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.14 - 0.83%

I thought I smoked something laced with meth and crack. I was full on tweaked. Was at a concert and had to leave as soon as I smoked it. I lost muscle control and was shaking and buckling at the knees. Couldn’t regulate body temperature- felt freezing and pins and needles in body- combined with numbing effects in my feet and hands. Mind wise: extremely paranoid and anxious. Convinced it was laced with hard drugs. Lmao maybe I’m a lightweight but holy shit. The person I smoked with did not feel this tweaked. Had to ride my bicycle home after the concert and could not maintain my balance to stay on the bike, had to walk the bike several miles home
