The Banjo strain is a well-balanced hybrid produced by crossing Colorado Seed’s Tangelo and Boost. Its THC content has been measured at 20-23.75%, and its CBD levels at 0.37-0.7%, making it a good option in a variety of settings like parties, friendly get-togethers, conversations, and so on. In fact, it’s one of the rare weeds that combines the best of both worlds, giving you a well-balanced blend perfectly suitable for both recreational and therapeutic purposes.

Banjo’s Taste and Scent

The flavor of the Banjo weed strain is a mix of sweet berries and citrus, with a strong, pungent odor of skunk coming from the bisabolol terpene. Those with a keen sense of smell may also detect cheesy notes layered with tangerine zest and piney flavor of Diesel, enhancing its flavoring profile and making its taste more interesting and unique.

Effects of the Banjo Strain

Banjo is known to be a great anti-depressant. It has a moderate sedative effect while also offering you a boost in energy, pushing away any negative thoughts. The high also increases productivity, allowing you to get the work done and go through the routine tasks without discomfort. People who are artificially inclined may feel inspired to tackle some creative project, while those who don’t usually feel comfortable around other people may suddenly become more sociable and talkative. This state soon changes to a sedative relaxation, though.

At some point in time, you may feel body numbness and tingly sensations slowly creeping into your limbs and dropping you off in physical relaxation, which will make you want to just kick back and relax on your couch. You may also experience a pang of hunger. Due to these effects, this cannabis is best consumed in the evening.

Its effects are also medically valuable, as it helps in treating a whole range of mental and physical disorders, including:

  • Aches
  • Muscle pains
  • Arthritis
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Insomnia
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite

Growing Tips of the Banjo Strain

Those who’d like to grow the Banjo strain at home should bear in mind that its seeds are not available for purchase online. The only possible solution is to buy its clippings, which can be propagated as clones. In addition to that, you’ll need to provide favorable conditions for the healthy growth of the plant, as the best yields are achieved in hot and humid environments. The flowering time of the marijuana tends to last up to 9 weeks, and the harvest time comes in about 50 days. It’s also worth adding that the plant tends to grow quite tall, so stretched branches may need occasional trimming.

CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.06 - 0.27%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. hmmmm.. I was just excited, energetic, when I smoked this hemp. I like smoking it in the evening. I was in an euphoric state at first, after I felt relaxed. This weed strain is a good anti-depressant since it has moderate sedative effect. the aroma is a combination of cheese and tangerine zest. I love this combo. It makes smoking this hemp interesting. after tasting several strains, I must say, this is one of the best.
