Taste and Smell

This weed has a terpene profile that gives remarkable orange and berry smells due to sabinene and carene. The pinene and camphene terpenes add woody and lime notes with a pungent undertone on exhale.

Properties and Effects of Blue Berries Strain

The strains like Blue Berries that come with a low THC level are not able to alter the user's mental state, but due to a high amount of CBD, which is a non-intoxicating cannabis compound with relaxing properties, pack a variety of mind and body health benefits. This type of marijuana is ideal for people who want to keep a clear head and get relief from:

  • Anxiety
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Phantom limb pain
  • Stress

The high CBD concentration has an uplifting effect on mood, making users happy and creative. It diminishes anxiety levels and helps people remain calm and focused. Some smokers report munchies. The weed is best used in the afternoon.

Usually, low-THC cannabis is well tolerated by users, but in single cases, it may provoke side effects such as:

  • Hunger
  • Heightened sensory perception
  • Fatigue

Tips for Growers

The Blue Berries strain belongs to a photoperiod type. The seeds of this special hybrid produce strong and fast-growing plants, which is very convenient for both indoor and outdoor gardening. At the end of the flowering stage (49-73 days), its leaves and flowers are covered with frosted, deep blue flakes. The plants have a controllable height (60’’-80’’). They are known for average yields (0.5-1 oz./ft2 indoors and 1-2 oz./ft2 outdoors) and harvest in 78 days after germination.

Its hard to pinpoint all aromas the strain emanates, but berry smell is naturally the prevailing. And citrus is probably the second strong smell. As I suffer from fibromyalgia, this strain assists me in treating the pain. The effects are awesome.

Blue Berries Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 4.5 - 6.75%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 4.5 - 6%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.41 - 0.55%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.48 - 1%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.37 - 0.3%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.28 - 0.85%
