The Cake Batter strain is a hybrid cannabis strain that inherited its features from the Wedding Cake parent strain. This strain is high in THC content and contains between 23% and 25% THC. It also has a CBD content of between 0.11% and 0.6%. The high from this strain can be intense and strong — it's best suited for those who like to take their time when consuming weed products.

Terpene Profile and Flavors

The total terpenes content makes up 1.01% and the most significant are:

  • Carene (0.27%)
  • Caryophyllene (0.15%)
  • Limonene (0.13%)
  • Phellandrene (0.09%)
  • Linalool (0.06%)
  • Ocimene (0.06%)

The taste of the strain starts off with citrus flavors that quickly give way to herbal notes. The middle part of your mouth may feel sweet or sour depending on how much you consume — but it's not overly sweet, like candy or candy corn, but rather like a sour berry flavor.

Cake Batter Strain Effects

The effects of the Cake Batter strain are pretty strong. You'll feel euphoric, giggly, happy, and relaxed. You might also get tingly sensations in your extremities and experience heightened sensory perception — which could be fun or thrilling if you're not expecting it! This strain is great because it makes you feel like you're experiencing everything more than usual — the colors of the room are brighter, the food tastes better, and even familiar sounds sound like new ones. Your senses are heightened so much that they can get overwhelming at times.

The side effects of this strain aren't too terrible, but they can be pretty intense if you're not prepared for them. You may find yourself experiencing rapid heart rate and overthinking things as you try to process what's happening to your body—so just take it easy on this one!

Medical Usage

The strain has been particularly popular within the medical marijuana community for its ability to assist in pain relief and for helping patients cope with anxiety. The Cake Batter is a strain that also may be useful in relieving your symptoms of appetite loss, depression, insomnia, and stress.

How To Grow The Cake Batter Weed Strain

If you're looking for a good strain to grow outdoors, the Cake Batter seeds is definitely the one to go with. It's a great choice if you want to grow outdoors and don't have a lot of space — this strain grows short and compact so that it won't take up too much room in your garden.

The flowering time on this marijuana strain is 45-50 days, which is pretty standard for photoperiod strains. If you're growing indoors, though, plan on having your plants indoors for around 60 days total — that's about as long as it will take for them to fully mature. That makes sense because [strain name] is a photoperiod strain, so it needs light from the sun (or from grow lights) in order to flower properly.

This strain yields between < 5 Oz/plant (< 150 g/plant) when grown outdoors and < 0.5 Oz/Ft² (< 150 g/m²) when grown indoors — that means there are plenty of opportunities for you to try out different ways of growing it!

as a novice, I felt weird and pretty uncomfortable. Very fast euphoric onset. This is not a surprise cause the kush is very potent - 25-28% thc. The smoke was a bit rough for me.
