Candyland strain is a Sativa-dominant hybrid that has a generally uplifting effect on the user. This weed has been around for quite some time already, and it is well-known and favored by many smokers. Candyland OG strain was developed about 10 years ago, and it really has some lineage to follow. So, on the one hand, we have Platinum GSC, a hybrid weed with a predominantly calming effect, which in turn is an offspring of the legendary OG Kush, Durban Poison, and some mysterious unknown tree. On the other hand, we have a Granddaddy Purple, a really stoner-friendly Indica derived from Purple Urkle and Big Bud. It is quite potent with approximately 19-23% THC, so it is a strain made for rather experienced users.

I like it in a joint, it burns weell, the smoke is not harsh, good for social events, spent half an hour laughing haha

Candyland Strain Review – Famous and Delicious Cup Winner

Kandyland strain won "Best Sativa Flower" prize at the ERRL Cup in Arizona in 2018.

Candy Land Strain Aroma and Flavor

Kandyland weed strain offers a really strong and pleasant aroma we can best describe as peppery and citrusy. The base of the aroma is a classic sweet and goundy petrichor marijuana, and the after smell is spicier with notes of pepper and citrus.

The flavor will depend on the smoking device you use, so there’s no saying as to what you’ll feel. If you use something like a short pipe, be prepared for irritation and coughing. If you use a large bong or even vaporizer, the taste would be entirely different and you’ll be able to sense those notes of citrus and paper I’ve just mentioned.

Strain details

Candyland Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 18.67 - 21.67%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.63 - 0.76%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.16 - 0.52%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.19 - 1.14%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.46 - 0.4%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.24 - 0.97%
