The Ecto Cooler strain is a Sativa-dominant cannabis hybrid with Lost River Seeds as its breeder. It has got its name after a popular Hi-C beverage associated with the Ghostbusters TV shows (the 1980s). The THC potency of this cultivar is average – 16.4-19%, and the CBD content is low – 0.28-0.46%.

The cannabinoid profile provided by Ecto Cooler is as follows:

  • CBC 0.4-0.8%
  • CBG 0.06-1.12%
  • CBN 0.2-0.34%
  • THCV 0.22-0.66%

With gentle notes of a traditional Sativa high, this marijuana is recommended for beginning smokers and recreational users who are not searching for extremely potent strains.

Ecto Cooler Smell and Flavor

This citrus-infused throwback to a famous movie delivers stoners a bunch of appealing aromas. It is an explosion of the citric smell of lemons with earthy hints as affected by the valencene and sabinene terpenes; however, the flavors are different. Myrcene is a chemical compound that also prevails in the terpene profile of this plant and adds pine and sharp diesel undertones to the taste on the exhale.

Beneficial Effects and Medical Appointments

Due to dominant Sativa genetics, the Ecto Cooler weed strain promotes uplifting and happy effects. At first, the high may seem euphoric, boosting smokers’ mood though leaving their minds clear. After an energizing onset, Indica’s influence will come to the fore by relaxing the body and relieving pain symptoms and muscle tension. It makes the weed a good helper at treating:

  • Depression
  • Migraines
  • Stress
  • Mood swings
  • Insomnia
  • Chronic fatigue

The Ecto Cooler strain has a shortlist of potential side effects that may happen in a case of overdose. The most typical reactions include:

  • Thirst and dry mouth
  • Fatigue
  • Heightened sensory perception

The effects won’t have a long-lasting impact on your health and wear off within a few hours.

Review for Growers

This cultivar is a rising star in the marijuana ranks. Its seeds are not commercially available and are hard to find. Home cultivators who are lucky to get the seeds report the plants are easy to grow. Their flowering cycle lasts 56-70 days from start to finish. Expect the crops in 74 days after germination. The weed shrubs amount to 60-80 inches in height and deliver 1-2 ounces of dried flower per 1 ft2 as an indoor yield and 10-15 oz./plant as an outdoor harvest, depending on the cultivation type. The plants form dense buds that are grape-shaped and covered with a blanket of golden-amber trichomes.

Ecto Cooler Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 16.4 - 19%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.28 - 0.46%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.4 - 0.8%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.06 - 1.12%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.2 - 0.34%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.22 - 0.66%
