G13 Haze is a Sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that is said to have been created in the 1960s by some secret government agencies. Whoever created it did so with the purpose of giving the body a strong high. It has a THC content of 23%, which makes it not recommended for beginner smokers. Also known as Government Indica Strain 1, this marijuana has euphoric and relaxing effects on the body that can last for quite some time.

A great medical strain!

Aroma and Taste

The aroma and taste of G-13 Haze strain buds are a combination of earthiness and citrus. It has four terpenes. These are Myrcene, Phellandrene, Carene, and Valencene. The first three combine to give it its earthy, woody, and pungent aroma, while Valencene gives it some hints of citrus, tangerine, and lemon. The resulting taste is a combination of sweet and sour notes.

Info for Growers

It is moderately difficult to grow this plant. You can sow the seeds indoors or outdoors to get a decent yield. The plant does not grow very tall, but it does require some space to thrive. The buds appear within 60 to 70 days, so a little patience is needed.

FAQ

One method of growing this bud is the Screen of Green (SOG) method. Firstly, germinate the seeds or use cuttings from a healthy plant. Make sure the plants benefit from approximately 18 hours of light per day until they reach about 12 inches in height. The plants need to be spaced so that there are no more than two of them per square foot. After this step, you can force them to flower by using 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. Within a few weeks, the G13 Haze should be ready for harvest.

An all round hybrid strain. You can smoke it when chilling by yourself or when hanging out with your friends. It delivers a good head high and makes you creative and thoughtful. However, I found the high to fade away quickly when I engaged in a more rigorous activity.

Good strain for creativity. It has a great taste too, I vaped it a few minutes ago and I enjoyed the smooth hits. However, I am a little disappointed by the high, it is not what I would describe as highly potent as there are other great strains out there.

A flavorful weed but not great for first time users as it causes anxiety and paranoia. If you are a maniac then you are likely to enjoy it. It has long lasting effects and gets you in a deep trance that leaves one feeling heavy and dazed. You will then fall into a deep sleep!

Strain details

G13 Haze Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 20.25 - 22.25%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.48 - 0.78%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.23 - 0.7%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.43 - 1.44%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.09 - 0.17%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.22 - 0.84%
