Gelato #33 is a hybrid strain, which got its name after an NBA player Larry Joe Bird who played under the same number. The kush is pretty balanced between Indica and Sativa; thus, it has rather good fame among smokers.

Originally, it was bred by the Cookie Fam Genetics of the Bay Area, and it represents a crossing between Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies (GST). The strain contains a THC level of about 19%, which can look a bit deceitful because even if the THC level is not the biggest, it has a super-strong effect. That’s why Gelato #33 is not the best way to get high for beginners and those with a low tolerance. However, experienced smokers usually find it quite entertaining.

Users often describe the flavor as sweet citrus and fruity, while the scent is rather earthy and produces notes of orange.

The weed affects both body and mind and starts with a powerful energy boost, which makes you very happy and uplifted. After some time, the person begins to feel more relaxed, and when the buzz stops, it will progress to an enjoyable and relaxing high. We suggest you consume it in the second part of the day, or better after dinner. Larry Bird’s kush can also be very useful if you have any kind of mental concerns, like depression, anxiety, or excessive stress.

Both seeds and weed are available for purchase on the Internet. Gelato #33 is rather demanding, especially to the temperature. It can be grown either outside or inside, but it will affect the height of the plant, which can significantly increase when growing outside. When growing indoors the flowering period requires about 8 to 9 weeks and when growing outdoors, you can harvest it in late September.

Great that it only took 50 days to grow. I had like 10 plants that i was looking after day and night. First couple of weeks felt like they were dragging by but after the first flower everythung sped up like crazy. Even my wife couldn't believe our first harvest.

After a single hit this one kind of reminded me of Cherry Punch. Only major difference is with the potency.Maybe its just me and my senses but I think that this onbe is way better than Cherry Punch. It got me high faster and it was just edibles unlike CP which took hours.
