Potency
Gorilla OG is a famous Indica-dominant 80/20 strain, with very little information on its origins. There are some theories of its emergence, but it’s hard to state that they are exact. Nevertheless, most people believe that one of the parents is a well-known strain, Gorilla Glue #4. Some think of it as a cross between Gorilla Glue #4 and Mango Kush, which explains why Gorilla OG is sometimes called Gorilla Mango. Others suppose that this cannabis is somehow related to OG Cookies.
This kush has a reputation as a pretty potent strain, containing the THC concentration ranging between 21-23% and an insignificant CBD level of about 0.4%. Gorilla OG strain may not be the most suitable option for newbie smokers due to its high THC content and potent properties. The best time for consumption is during the nighttime.
Common Effects
After consumption, the high comes fast and hits with a heavy blow of euphoria, providing a tingly effect throughout the body. With that, the high also elevates the mood yet throwing one into an unfocused state of relaxation. Then it flows to a decent couch-lock, producing a severe case of munchies, so it’s better to prepare beforehand. As all things should be, in the end, this weed delivers a feeling of drowsiness that helps to fall asleep in no time.
Regarding the side effects, this cannabis strain may induce the following:
- Cottonmouth and thirst
- Dizziness
- Headache
Common Usage
A combination of relaxing and uplifting effects make Gorilla OG strain a perfect remedy to deal with excessive stress and insomnia. According to reviewers, it can also alleviate mild chronic pains and even some symptoms of depression.
Gorilla OG Strain Flavors
The bud can surprise the consumer with a complex aroma with a prevailing tropic smell, complemented by hints of spiciness, earth, diesel, and even leather. At the same time, the taste also shows sweet tropical tones with sour and peppery notes. And in addition to that, some consumers may notice a presence of wood and chestnut.
Terpenes responsible for such uncommon flavors are:
- Borneol
- Terpinolene
- Pinene
- Phellandrene
- Eucalyptol

THC | Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. Too bad after my pregnancy I had to stop smoking, this strain would have been perfect for the cramps and every pain I am feeling now. I do not think I will be back to smoking weed for a Longtime, maybe I should try CBD tinctures
I tried growing this kush, it was not a total mission failure but it did not come out as it should be. Growing Gorilla OG is real hard. Perhaps next time it will be a little bit better
My immune system is a little bit weak. I get sick more often and most of the time it blocks my appetite. To open it up I use gorilla og, after smoking it, I feel like I can gobble up everything in the fridge.
I never get tired of this kush, initially I thought it would be boring by now
First rule of having a good time, invite friends over, second rule get gorilla og
I wonder what would happen if you made cannabis milk with this ganja
The smoke feels quite potent
A lot of flavors packed into one flower, a true masterpiece
I felt very paranoid after smoking this kush, best to smoke it at home
They dont make them like this anymore, this weed is the ultimate smoke veterans
