This is a hybrid strain with a slight Indica-dominance 60/40. Unfortunately, the first breeder of this cannabis is not precisely known, but the lineage is not a mystery. This strain emerged as a result of the crossing between OG Kush and Sour Diesel. There are two types of seeds for this strain: Headband autoflower seeds and Headband feminized seeds.

This weed is a real deal, with an average level of THC that ranges between 20%-23%. Thankfully, to its spacey influence, the best time for consumption is during the afternoon, or when there are no important things to do.

Headband weed strain buds emit a deliciously sweet aroma of lemons with a few diesel hints. When smoking, the taste surprises with its sweet lemony presence and a minor note of diesel. After that, a thick smoke leaves a creamy aftertaste.

Headband Strain Typical Effects

Its name says a lot about its effects, as it provides a potent cerebral buzz, which provides a feeling of euphoria and lifts the mood instantly. Then, the high delivers a calming, melty body relaxation. Furthermore, HB strain also increases creativity and gives a little boost of energy that makes it a great socializer. However, the exact origins of its name refer to a unique effect of this marijuana. It appears in the form of a calming sensation on the crown of the head, resembling wearing a headband.

This cannabis’ long-lasting influence helps deal with mood disorders, like excessive stress, anxiety, and depression. On the other hand, a soothing body high relieves almost all kinds of physical pain, such as chronic pains, migraines, and inflammations. According to reports, Headband OG strain is also an efficient remedy when facing insomnia and nausea. Moreover, even people suffering from ADD and ADHD disorders can benefit from smoking it. The Headband OG strain side effects are pretty rare, but like every other strain, it causes cottonmouth and dry eyes.

Grow Info

Headband strain seeds are available for purchase on the Internet. The complexity of raising it ranges between moderate and difficult, as the plant requires some care and knowledge. It’s very sensitive to cold temperatures and requires shelter if grown in a humid climate.

On the other hand, it is resistant to molds and pests. It’s possible to cultivate it indoors and outdoors. If grown outdoors, it demands proper humidity and temperature. Fortunately for growers, who live in cold climates, Humboldt Headband strain is perfect for indoor growing because of its relatively small height. But, to grow it properly, it requires a lot of sunlight and air ventilation to remove the stink. Wherever it grows, the flowering time takes about 9-11 weeks, providing a moderate amount of yield.

There is a uniqueness to its aroma. The flavor is also intriguing. I love the freshness that comes from the lemon flavor. It is really uplifting. It is also great for nausea maybe as a result of the presence of the Lemon extracts.
