The Mars OG strain is an Indica-leaning hybrid made through crossing Mars and OG strains. Being known as a strong and relaxing medicinal marijuana, this weed produces potent, relaxing, and sedative properties that leave smokers incredibly lazy and unable to even stand up before falling asleep. The terpene profile is vast and dominated by limonene and caryophyllene, which are responsible for its citrus taste and aroma with notes of fresh spices and herbs on the exhale. Alongside these effects, the Mars OG also contains many cannabinoids where the most abundant is THC, which reaches 16.32-18.82%. This THC potency is suitable for moderate medical patients with enough experience of smoking cannabis.

I smoked a blunt and the feeling was waaam, waaam! I woke up with a box of cookies on my bed and some in my clothes. I had eaten them cookies at night. I kept stretching like a content and lazy cat.

The Mars OG weed strain is considered the best for nighttime use or after a long working day when you need a little help to relax and unwind. Featuring its prominent soothing and sedative effects, the weed feels quite good to smoke and has a very balancing effect on your body and mind. Smokers admit that this cannabis bud always makes them incredibly lazy and unable to focus. This marijuana is perfect for any conditions related to the inability to fall asleep, find homeostasis or calm down. While the onset is almost immediate, after a few hours of smoking, you will fall asleep and have a long, quality night's rest with no racing thoughts or tension.

With these effects and its moderate THC potency, the Mars OG cannabis is often chosen by medical patients that struggle with:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mood swings
  • Insomnia
  • Chronic pains
  • PMS
  • Loss of appetite

However, not everyone is ready for such potent effects and may experience minor side effects. They often include:

  • Thirst and dry mouth
  • Dry eyes
  • Dizzy

The aromas and after taste is annoying. Goji og is a better strain in terms of cerebral high as it has higher THC levels. It also has a unique flavor of about three berry fruits and licorie. Just thinking about it make my mouth water. I wish the same could be said for mars. The flavor is a turn off

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.28 - 0.32%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.28 - 1.16%
