Meatbreath is a cannabis strain that is 80% Indica-dominant hybrid. It comes from ThugPug Genetics and has its lineage linked to parent strains Meatloaf and Mendo Breath. This strain has a THC content of 22% which is on the moderately higher side of the scale. This makes this marijuana more suitable for experienced users although beginners can take it in small quantities too. The ideal time to consume Meatbreath is in the afternoon as its effects can last for a long time. Growing this weed plant from Meat Breath Seeds Autoflower is easy for beginners.

Terpenes, Smell, and Taste of Meatbreath

With Caryophyllene, Bisabolol, Humulene, Valencene, and Sabinene as the terpenes, Meatbreath is a marijuana with very fruity and citrusy notes as far as the aroma is concerned. The buds taste more like diesel though, albeit with some notes of lemon and strawberry.

Effects and Uses

The main effects of consuming this weed include:

  • Concentration
  • Focus
  • Happiness
  • Hunger
  • Relaxation

The effects of relaxation can come on very slowly but usually last for a long time, which is why this weed should be used at a time when you can fully enjoy the effects. For new smokers, these cannabis buds can lead to headaches, hunger, and low blood pressure in some cases.

As far as medicinal benefits go, Meatbreath is helpful to combat glaucoma, epilepsy, and hypertension.

Information for Growers

After sourcing some seeds, growing the plant is not very difficult. It takes about 45-50 days to mature which is less than some other strains of cannabis. The plant also has a short height so it is easy to grow it indoors as well as outdoors.

Meatbreath Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 23.5 - 26%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.66 - 0.88%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.48 - 1.16%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.18 - 0.34%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.26 - 1.4%

This is a really great strain, just like the leafly reviews mention. The only thing you should be careful about is to smoke it in the afternoon or mid day. Any later will make you sleep in
