The Napalm OG strain (also known as the “Napalm Kush” strain or the “Napalm” strain) is a 50/50 hybrid of cannabis created by Alien Genetics as a cross-breeding of three strains – Sunberry, Bubblegum Kush, and Platinum Cookies. Various lab data puts its potency at an average of 19.5-21.5% THC and 0.34-0.54% CBD.

I used this hemp leaves to bake and although the high was reduced minimally, it is still a great strain. The cookies had a special taste and I was convinced that this the weed of the gods.

Napalm OG Strain Review – A Powerful Balanced Hybrid

As the name demonstrates, this cultivar can bring down even an experienced stoner. Despite its moderate THC level, Napalm OG is recommended for seasoned consumers.

The cannabinoid profile informs cannabis users about the concentration of active chemicals in the plant. This weed includes the following components with distinct medicinal features:

  • CBC 0.32-0.56%
  • CBG 0.1-1.25%
  • CBN 0.39-0.21%
  • THCV 0.24-0.84%

Napalm OG Strain Aromas and Terpenes

Multiple terpenes found in Napalm OG determine its aromas and flavors. The strain holds high amounts of caryophyllene and pinene. Both chemicals give the plant a strong smell of tobacco. Bisabolol makes the scent more delicate and attractive by delivering sage and citrus aromas, mostly grapefruit and lemon.

The lemon “kushy” flavor was inherited from its ancestors (Kush and OG Kush.) There is also an extreme spiciness in the smoke that can make unprepared weedheads cough.

Effects and Benefits

The effects offered by the Napalm OG strain are pleasant and fast-acting. They start with calming tingly vibes and bring happy relaxation. The high is uplifting and may be sedative at times. Also, expect to get prompts of giggles. Smokers can feel that their spirits lift, and their aches go away. Pain management and an ability to cope with mood disorders are the main strain properties that are very helpful in relieving the symptoms of various medical conditions such as:

  • Chronic pain
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Depression

Almost every second reviewer reports pangs of hunger after smoking. An appetite gain is beneficial for people who have eating problems or nausea.

Due to mild soothing effects, this marijuana can cause a satisfying sleep and be useful to individuals who have insomnia. However, consumed in high doses, the pot can act opposite and result in trouble sleeping.

Typical side effects triggered by the Napalm OG weed strain are dizziness, concern, and a dry mouth.

Tips for Growers

The Napalm OG strain is heavy-yielding and has pretty tall plants. Indoor plants grow to 60-80 inches and can reach more than 90 inches in outdoor conditions. They can require regular trimming. So, more experienced cultivators will get better results than newbies. In the open air, gardeners can also expect higher yields – 15-20 oz./plant, while inside plants produce 1-2 oz./ft2.

The strain is well-known for its long blooming period (54-67 days.) It forms fluffy dark olive nugs with amber hairs. The harvest comes in 72 days. Napalm OG is a rare strain and is not available as feminized seeds.

This is a powerful and relaxing strain. It is best to take the concentrates at home. This form is even more potent. Too much could leave you looking like you are in another world where time moves slowly.

napalm has a unique ride, you just have to let go and let it take you away. Even though the body is numb, you can still feel the mental buzz and enjoy the trip. Dont keep fighting the weed and moan about how strong it is…

Strain details

Napalm OG Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 19.5 - 21.5%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.34 - 0.54%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.32 - 0.56%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.1 - 1.25%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.39 - 0.21%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.24 - 0.84%

Napalm OG Terpene Profile

Pinene Pinene is one of the most widespread terpenes in nature, found in pine trees, basil, nutmeg, parsley, and rosemary. Cannabis containing terpene (alpha-pinene or α-pinene) boasts a strong pine scent. Pinene is responsible for anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-anxiety effects. 0.25%
Geraniol Geraniol is a terpene initially contained in geraniums, as well as lemongrass, lemon peels, roses, blueberries, and carrots. The aroma is a sweet rose scent with notes of citrus. Geraniol features anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and neuroprotectant properties. It's rumored to have side effects such as allergic contact dermatitis or sensitive skin irritation. 0.03%
Humulene Humulene (also known as α-humulene) is one of the major terpenes found in cannabis, contributing to woody, earthy, spicy, herbaceous, and, mainly, floral aromas of cannabis. Used in modern medicine, humulene offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and appetite suppressant effects, which have been well-researched by pharmaceutical companies. 0.19%
Bisabolol Bisabolol (also known as α-Bisabolol or levomenol) is a lesser-known terpene found in cannabis. It contributes to anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, antioxidant, anti-microbial, and analgesic properties of weed strains containing bisanol. Attentive smokers would be able to catch a nutty, fruity scent with herbal and floral undertones, with a tender trace of coconut. 0.25%
Caryophyllene Caryophyllene (also known as beta or b caryophyllene) is a terpene found in many herbs and spices, such as black pepper, basil, rosemary, and oregano. Cannabis high in caryophyllene delivers a strong spicy, peppery aroma, resembling cinnamon and cloves. Caryophyllene offers potent anti-inflammatory and sedative effects. 0.28%
Total terpenes content 1.00%
