The OG 18 strain, also known as "Private Reserve," "Reserve OG weed," and "OG 18," is a rare and unique Indica-dominant hybrid. This 70/30 mix has special effects like nothing else. It has large, resinous, and very dense buds. Besides, the OG 18 is the result of crossing the G13 Skunk and Alien Dog.

OG 18 Strain Terpene Profile

The main terpene of the OG 18 weed strain is phellandrene. The element alone creates such a wide variety of cannabis flavors:

Reported Info

Some users have complained of insomnia when trying cannabis. Several of them mentioned paranoia, while others spoke of heightened sensory perception. Despite this, patients can use weed to combat:

  • Arthritis
  • Chronic pain
  • Depression
  • Inflammation
  • Insomnia
  • Mood swings
  • Nightmares

Type of High

A solid high is offset by its short duration. Therefore, your knockout may soon pass, but you will indeed have time to experience the full range of feelings. For example, users often report powerful euphoria. It is a stream of thoughts that does not stop and does not allow you to concentrate on anything. The awareness of time and space is slightly distorted, and the user can look at one point for a long time. In general, marijuana can significantly relax your body and lift your spirits.

Tips for Growers

Consumers can quickly obtain OG 18 seeds from online stores. When it comes to growing, the plant can be very moody. But it has the advantage of mold resistance. The best choice for marijuana is the semi-humid Mediterranean climate. The flowering time comes at about six weeks. Harvest is available for harvest at about nine weeks. You can get approximately 400 grams of buds per plant. You can also try a hydroponic setup for more yield.

OG 18 Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 19.33 - 22.33%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.42 - 0.69%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.33 - 1.18%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.31 - 1.43%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.33 - 0.28%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.38 - 1.12%

OG 18 Terpene Profile

Pinene Pinene is one of the most widespread terpenes in nature, found in pine trees, basil, nutmeg, parsley, and rosemary. Cannabis containing terpene (alpha-pinene or α-pinene) boasts a strong pine scent. Pinene is responsible for anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-anxiety effects. 0.29%
Ocimene Ocimene (derived from the Ancient Greek word Ocimum meaning basil) is a terpene with sweet and herbaceous flavors, also boasting citrusy and woody undertones. Naturally, ocimene occurs in mint, parsley, orchids, hops, kumquats, mangoes, basil, bergamot, lavender, and pepper. Offers antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. 0.21%
Geraniol Geraniol is a terpene initially contained in geraniums, as well as lemongrass, lemon peels, roses, blueberries, and carrots. The aroma is a sweet rose scent with notes of citrus. Geraniol features anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and neuroprotectant properties. It's rumored to have side effects such as allergic contact dermatitis or sensitive skin irritation. 0.21%
Phellandrene Phellandrene (also known as alpha- and beta-phellandrene) is one of the rare terpenes found in cannabis with antihyperalgesic and antidepressive properties. Phellandrene contributes to a minty, woody, and mildly citrus aroma in cannabis. Previously confused with limonene and pinene, phellandrene was eventually distinguished as a separate terpene common for eucalyptus. Also, it could be found in mint, dill, black pepper, cinnamon, parsley, pine, and lavender. 0.29%
Total terpenes content 1.00%

Take this if you want to rest and relax after work. It brought me pain relief although some people say its not potent enough. I dont know about them... maybe they need something stronger. But for me, this one is a keeper.
