Orange Crush strain is a must-have in your cannabis collection. Featuring an energizing sensation, this is an outstanding marijuana option for daytime use.

Your website mentions that the orange crush has a flowering time of 71 - 82 days but then go on to say that the harvesting time is 86 days. I find this very confusing. What's the difference between flowering time and harvesting time?

Orange Crush Strain - Feel The Energy Of Orange

It was first created by the BC Growers Association in the mild climate of British Columbia. It has been bred by the two-parent flowers of California Orange and Blueberry. California Orange is an old school Sativa marijuana plant from the 1980s. Blueberry is a highly-popular Indica plant that claimed the High Times’ Cannabis Cup 2000 for Best Indica.

The combination of California Orange and Blueberry has resulted in an energizing blend that users love all around the world. The citrusy bud is now largely grown in California and the Northern parts of Canada. It is a 50/50 hybrid with a high THC level of 21-24% and a much lower CBD level.

Orange Crush Strain Effects Review

According to consumers, Orange Crush weed produces such effects:

  • Giggly
  • Creative
  • Aroused
  • Relaxed
  • Focused
  • Tingly

Due to the positive effects of this plant, it is often used for patients who suffer from depression or anxiety. It may also be used for individuals that have lost their appetite (potentially due to chemotherapy).

Orange Crush just as any other weed may have some side effects. The buds only caused 31% to report dry mouth and 18% of users to report dry eyes.

Orange Crush Strain Aroma and Flavor

When smelling these citrusy flowers, you’ll be surprised at the immediate earthy aroma you’ll experience. The bud smells almost damp – which is a stark contrast from the taste.

As an ode to its name, Orange Crush does have a citrusy, orange flavor. Once smoked, you’ll notice a tart taste before being overcome with sweet undertones.

Orange Crush Growing Info

Whether your conditions are humid or dry, Orange Crush strain usually develops comfortably. The flowering time for this strain is anywhere between 10 to 11 weeks depending on the conditions of growth.

The flower is easy to maintain and doesn’t require special nutrients to succeed. Because of the large fan base, it’s an excellent addition for many growers.

You can grow this durable strain both indoors and outdoors. The seeds are relatively easy to acquire to begin your growing operation.

Strain details

Orange Crush Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 20.25 - 23%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.44 - 0.72%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.32 - 0.96%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.18 - 1.06%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.08 - 0.26%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.16 - 1.07%
