  • CBC 0.2-0.82%
  • CBG 0.33-0.69%
  • CBN 0.06-0.23%
  • THCV 0.2-0.74%

Passion Fruit Strain Tastes and Fragrances

Users usually enjoy this weed due to its unique aroma profile – it smells like butter with citrus notes. The sabinene terpene is responsible for these scents. The list of other prominent terpenes detected in the plant includes caryophyllene and phellandrene. These compounds add a sweet lemon accent to the Passion Fruit strain’s flavor.

Properties and Medical Uses

The Passion Fruit weed strain gives way to focused thoughts, a good mood, and energetic feelings. It increases concentration and motivation and fills smokers’ minds with a sense of creativity. Due to Sativa genetics, the weed helps people get physical and mental tasks done. Since the strain has an average THC potency, this uplifting high won’t be overwhelming for inexperienced users. It is ideal for morning/daytime usage.

From a medical point of view, it helps cope with chronic pain, stress, and depression. Unprepared consumers may experience adverse effects such as:

  • Thirst and dry mouth
  • Paranoia
  • Drowsiness

Tips for Cultivators

Passion Fruit is a new strain on the cannabis market, but this dynamic hybrid with a delicious flavor is welcomed in the gardens of all growers. On the one hand, its seeds can be found in online stores and seed banks. On the other hand, its growing cycle is simple. The height of the herbs is controlled and amounts to 30 inches, which makes it an ideal solution for gardens with a limited growing area. The flowering period of this cannabis is pretty short and takes around 45-50 days.

Shortly after the blooming phase, the plants can be harvested. The indoor return is less than 0.5 oz./ft2. When bred in the open air, the yield is less than 5 oz./plant. Exposure to cool temperatures gives a desirable purple hue to the leaves and enhances sticky trichome production. The buds will hold their extreme stickiness when adequately harvested and cured.

Passion Fruit Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 17.75 - 20.25%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.33 - 0.69%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.06 - 0.23%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.2 - 0.74%
