The Slymer strain is a 60% Sativa-dominant hybrid, and according to the opinion of most breeders, his lineage starts from the famous Chornobyl strain. It is worth saying that the parent strain got its name for a reason. Its sticky structure and heavy high evoke associations with the depressing accident at the nuclear power plant.

God created humans so they could become scientists and make amazing weed like Slymer. Ballanced hybrid that offers both potency and flavor, thats what it is…I like the most how you have to wait for the kick while your body goes down to sleep.

Slymer Strain Review – Not to Be Confused with a Fellow “Slimer” Strain

The Slymer weed strain has a pretty mind-blowing percent of THC, making it quite dangerous for beginners – 22-24% would totally satisfy the needs of experienced stoners.

For other cannabinoids, this profile is as follows:

  • CBD – 0.36-0.77%
  • CBC – 0.18-0.58%
  • CBG – 0.26-1.3%
  • CBN – 0.24-0.45%
  • THCV – 0.23-1%

This cannabis strain also contains the following terpenes:

  • Eucalyptol
  • Terpinolene
  • Phellandrene
  • Bisabolol
  • Myrcene

Appearance, Taste, and Aroma

Slymer buds are light green and only partially covered with translucent resin-filled trichomes.

The taste may seem very sharp and even aggressive at first – you will feel notes of fuel, skunk, and iron, which will definitely evoke associations with radiation. However, its taste is later revealed and filled with unexpectedly pleasant sweet and tart citrus notes. So, flavors of black pepper and citrus lime await you, along with the aroma of pine forests and eucalyptus trees, which will fill the air with marijuana smoke.

Slymer Strain Effects

After you fully enjoy the lime, the taste of which will accompany you for some time, you will have a stunning thrill. It will manifest in high tension and tingling around the eyes, which will be very pleasant and increase every time until noticeable bursts of adrenaline. Then you will get an incredible physiological pleasure, which can be supported, for example, by kissing or sex. At the same time, mental sensations and a rapid change of consciousness won't last long. Eventually, the state will become more calm and meditative – just like when you most want to sit at home for a cup of tea and your favorite music.

Possible Side Effects

From time to time, weedheads note the excessive sensory sensitivity caused by Slymer – some may find it unpleasant and even painful. Therefore, if you have a fairly low tolerance threshold for cannabis – be careful with the dosage.

Common Usage

The dose of the Slymer strain can significantly calm you down, making this weed an excellent remedy for stress, chronic fatigue, and pain of various origins. It is also often used to get rid of chemical dependence, allowing a reasonable way to overcome a bad habit.

Growing Tips

Growing this weed is not easy – you may need expert advice if you are a novice grower. It should take 54-63 minutes before the end of the flowering period. In 70 days, you will be ready to harvest. Outdoors it can reach 550 g/plant, indoors – 400 g/m2. Slymer can grow up to 60-80 inches in height.

0.5g rolled up in a big fat joint is the proper measure. A word of warning, though, Slymer is a sneaky bastard, you think its showing you everything its got but then when you least expect it, theres a delayed punch that hits you like a rocket!

Cali Kush and Slymer are two of my top favorite strains. They have similar effects and intensity, although Id say Cali Kush draws more from its Indica lineage. Slymer tastes better, but I guess that’s depends on what you like. Thumbs up, anyway

Smells amazing!!! I love when I open up my stash and the smell of lime and exotic herbs starts spreading throughout the room. The flavor is also very appealing, especially when the smoke is exhaled. Buzz is not too aggressive…

Strain details

Slymer Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 22.5 - 24.75%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.36 - 0.77%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.18 - 0.58%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.26 - 1.3%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.24 - 0.45%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.23 - 1%
