Strawberry Switchblade is a hybrid with Indica as the dominant plant. It is bred by Riot Seeds by crossing the following strains:

  • East Coast Sour Diesel (ECSD)
  • Strawberry Creme
  • Double Black Doja Blood

The Strawberry Switchblade strain is a THC-dominant hybrid rich in terpene profiles. It has a sweet flavor of strawberries, grapes, and cream, and medium-sized buds with vibrant purple, green, and orange colors.

Named after a Scottish pop band of the 80s known for the colorful wardrobe, this sweet weed gives a strong and long-lasting body high effect. Therefore, it's best to smoke it in the evenings or at night-time. It might be too potent for inexperienced users.

The smell is similar to the flavor. Strawberry Switchblade weed smells exactly like strawberries and berries. These are the dominant terpenes, combined with slight hints of citrus that complements the smell with every toke you take.

Switchblade is a nicely balanced strain with 16% to 20% THC content. Its initial effects are characteristic for Sativa, but they swiftly lean toward Indica. The strong effects include a warm relaxation of the entire body, and probably even couch lock.

Based on this, the weed is good for treating minor aches and various pains, insomnia, nausea, anxiety, and stress. It flowers within 49 to 70 days and has a moderate growing difficulty.

Strawberry Switchblade Strain Cannabinoids

THC 15.67 - 17.67% Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component.
CBD 0.51 - 0.88% Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps.
CBC 0.22 - 0.68% Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
CBG 0.22 - 1.11% Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure.
CBN 0.17 - 0.33% Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss.
THCV 0.14 - 0.7% Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V.

I’m an indica smoking grl. Saliva can make me restless and my heart race. This hybrid gives me the best of both worlds. I’m relaxed, not too much, and I still have a giggly euphoric brain experience. Really loving it.
