Potency

Newbie Skilled

The Taffie strain is a cannabis hybrid with Indica genetics as prevailing. The cultivar is of moderate potency whose parents are The Truth and Northern Cali Gooey. Its THC clocks in at about 14-18%, and its CBD content reaches levels of 0.51-0.55%. Other cannabinoids detected in the plant are as follows:

  • CBC 0.26-1.31%
  • CBG 0.49-2.13%
  • CBN 0.01-0.19%
  • THCV 0.44-1.68%

Main Fragrances and Terpenes

While smoking Taffie, people feel earthy aromas delivered by humulene with notes of spicy herbs and chestnut added by phellandrene. The smell becomes more pungent when the nugs are burnt. This taste stays on the tongue for a long. Since the terpene profile is also rich in pinene, this chemical offers a delicate rose aroma to the bouquet.

Medical Properties and Effects

The Taffie weed strain makes potheads feel happy with a talkative tendency, which can escalate and make them giggly, causing fits of uncontrolled laughter. Some users can feel an increase in creativity, focus, and motivation. These effects are accompanied by a relaxing body high with tingling sensations in the limbs. The strain doesn’t induce sleepiness, but some smokers may feel hazy.

People turn to these effects for fast relief from the symptoms caused by:

  • Depression
  • Chronic stress
  • Pain
  • Headache
  • Migraines

The weed increases hunger and can be helpful for people with nausea or appetite loss. However, some individuals can treat it as a downside.

The Taffie strain allows patients to medicate with minimal unwanted effects. In hypersensitive consumers, it may agitate drowsiness and rapid heartbeat.

Taffie Strain Cultivation Review

Taffie marijuana is not the easiest strain to cultivate. It flowers over the period of 45-55 days, producing pleasantly high yields. Its average indoor harvest amounts to 2-3 oz./ft2 and less than 5 oz./plant as an outdoor return. The plants are pretty tall (60-80 inches) with a full life cycle from germination to harvest at 61 days. Gardeners can find the seeds in online seed banks.

Taffie Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 14 - 18%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.51 - 0.55%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.26 - 1.31%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.49 - 2.13%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.01 - 0.19%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.44 - 1.68%

Taffie Terpene Profile

Pinene Pinene is one of the most widespread terpenes in nature, found in pine trees, basil, nutmeg, parsley, and rosemary. Cannabis containing terpene (alpha-pinene or α-pinene) boasts a strong pine scent. Pinene is responsible for anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-anxiety effects. 0.29%
Humulene Humulene (also known as α-humulene) is one of the major terpenes found in cannabis, contributing to woody, earthy, spicy, herbaceous, and, mainly, floral aromas of cannabis. Used in modern medicine, humulene offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and appetite suppressant effects, which have been well-researched by pharmaceutical companies. 0.18%
Sabinene Sabinene is a terpene with a peppery, spicy, citrusy, and piney aroma, presented in Norway spruce, Holm oak trees, black pepper, cardamom, and carrot seeds. Found in cannabis in small quantities. Allegedly, sabinene has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. 0.11%
Eucalyptol Eucalyptol (also known as cineole) is usually found in eucalyptus, mint, sage, and tea tree oil. Distinguished for its cooling properties, eucalyptol constitutes only up 0.6% of a total terpene profile of a strain. This terpene exhibits potent antibacterial effects and can also be used to treat patients with Alzheimer's disease and asthma. 0.18%
Phellandrene Phellandrene (also known as alpha- and beta-phellandrene) is one of the rare terpenes found in cannabis with antihyperalgesic and antidepressive properties. Phellandrene contributes to a minty, woody, and mildly citrus aroma in cannabis. Previously confused with limonene and pinene, phellandrene was eventually distinguished as a separate terpene common for eucalyptus. Also, it could be found in mint, dill, black pepper, cinnamon, parsley, pine, and lavender. 0.25%
Total terpenes content 1.01%

The after-effect of this kush is pretty strong, the only thing I wanted after one smoking session was to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix , I didnt even feel like playing games. The high is solid too though kept me on high alert and lifted my mood after 15 minutes.

Probably one of the best flowers to smoke with a few beers and meat on the grill, it kept me active and in a very good mood until I had to sleep. Ill try smoking this kush more often before I go to bed or before dinner, its great

I Smoked blunts of this weed when I was feeling a little nauseated one day and after one hour I felt a little better which was a big bonus because I wasnt even interested in eating that day. I ended up smoking too much of it though and started getting itchy eyes and felt super drowsy, just glad I wasnt at work.

If you like reading or watching TV shows before sleeping this weed might be right for you as the high doesnt make you feel drowsy immediately. When I smoke it the high keeps wide awake for a few episodes or a few chapters and when the high dies down Im good and ready for some sleep

I like to bring this ganja with me everytime I go camping, its very potent and doesnt make you feel stoned or sleepy straight away; Hitting a bong of this with friends is great because by the time the high-energy high is over were usually done working the griil and eating.
