Trainwreck is a well-known sativa-dominant strain cultivated in Northern California. It has strong and potent Sativa effects that made it popular all over the world. While the history of this plant isn’t too clear and it’s speculated that it’s been brought to the US to try and mimic the Thai Stick, later on, it was crossbred with a Mexican Sativa and Afghani stock which brought us the strain we know today. We know that the cultivar was made much better and perfected in Humboldt County in California, where it was also popularized. A legend around the name Trainwreck is circling around that says it got its name because of a train wreck that happened near the field where it was grown and the growers had to move their crops because of it. If you want to plant it in your garden, you can find Trainwreck Seeds Feminized on our website.

Trainwreck Weed Taste and Smell

Train Wreck Strain Grow Information

If you’re looking for some Trainwreck strain seeds and want to start growing your own plant inside your home but you’re just a beginner, it might be a bit of a challenge for you. Generally, it’s not the easiest plant to tend to as it’s classified as an intermediate level. This particular marijuana plant has a lot of resistance that makes your job easier. It’s resistant against many diseases and it can be grown both inside and outside although you need a high ceiling inside because the plant grows quite high. The main concern for you would be to keep the plant in a warm and dry place with access to sunlight and far away from freezing temperatures.

Train Wreck strain grows best outside in a dry and warm climate but if the climate where you live is humid and wet, you’ll have to keep the plants in a shelter where you can control the climate. If you live in a colder climate, it’s best to go for indoor growing because getting frost is the highest threat to this plant. Both indoor and outdoor Train Wreck weed strain flowering time is 8-10 weeks. The Trainwreck strain yield is different depending on whether it’s grown inside or outside so inside it yields about 18oz/m2 and outside it would yield around 25oz/plant.

Trainwreck Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 16.5 - 19.25%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.36 - 0.72%

CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.26 - 0.94%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.08 - 0.29%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.26 - 0.9%

The dry mouth is insane like Kush says but I do not think that it should stop you from trying this beauty out. It has such an INCREDIB;E high that I chose to overlook the dry mouth. Took a few sips of water at the end of each joint smoking session and I was pretty olay through out.

Stuff will put you on the couch. I trained the crap out of them. They took well to this and bushed out nice. Great yield, bad year for tons of rain. Lost a couple to rot, but I got the best crop compared to other growers in mass. Have to shake off extra moisture every day almost. I have severe chronic pain and this stuff is great, also major severe chronic depressed disorder. it's ok for that, but don't give up the meds. Bad move on my part. Recommend highly.
