Tropicana Strain Review - Exotic Flavor and Fruity Succor

The average THC amount is 12.33-15.33%, but be careful as it can go as high as 27% in some cuts. Whether you are an experienced or novice user, you should measure your bud's potency to avoid getting an overwhelming high. The list of cannabinoids that are present in this plant includes:

  • CBD 0.13-0.44%
  • CBC 0.34-1.25%
  • CBG 0.37-1.69%
  • CBN 0.18-0.25%
  • THCV 0.4-1.47%

Terpene Profile and Aromas

The Tropicana strain was named after its characteristic tropical aroma with hints of lemon as affected by the geraniol terpene. Smokers who enjoy fruity cannabis strains will also be delighted by vanilla hints brought by pulegone. Carene mixes in a chemical odor to this yummy bouquet, but this scent doesn’t dominate.

Tropicana Strain Main Effects

Tropicana weed is usually consumed during the day, and it cannot help with insomnia. Some smokers claim the Tropicana strain increases productivity and helps them focus on tasks. Since it induces hunger, it can be helpful to patients who struggle with a loss of appetite. Also, consumers report they experience mild euphoria and a desire to chat with friends. This strain causes a mild high, improves mood, and relaxes.

Aside from therapeutic benefits, it may trigger adverse effects such as:

  • Paranoia
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Thirst and dry mouth

How to Grow Tropicana

This kush is easy to cultivate, though the seeds may be hard to find. Breeders adore this strain for its controlled height, which rarely exceeds 30 inches, regardless of the growing conditions. After a blooming stage that lasts 45-50 days, the herbs are ready for harvesting in 50 days. The indoor return is pretty modest and amounts to less than 0.5 oz./ft2. The deep green nugs are thin and long, covered by orange pistils and white crystal trichomes.

Tropicana Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 12.33 - 15.33%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.13 - 0.44%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.34 - 1.25%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.37 - 1.69%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.18 - 0.25%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.4 - 1.47%
