The Dragon OG strain is a very rare and robust Indica-dominant hybrid with a 60/40 ratio. It is the result of crossing the classic OG Kush and Red Dragon. You will surely enjoy both the taste and the effects of marijuana. Weed is great for both beginners and seasoned smokers. On average, the THC Dragon OG strain fluctuates between 12 and 17% of the content. However, sometimes the content of THC can reach up to 20%. The effects of this weed are typical of Sativa. Because of its impact, some smokers take the weed in the morning.

I am growing one Dragon OG plant. Unfortunately I didn't take unfortunately I didn't take any clones from it before flowering it but hopefully I will get lucky and find a seed or two because it has produced a very large plant with massive colas all over it! Even the lower branches have produced large pine cone shaped buds. It has been a fast maturing plant. I am at 56 days and plan on harvesting atexactly 8 weeks.

Dragon OG Strain Review – Tasty Cannabis to Take in the Morning

Smell and Taste

Cannabis does indeed have a rich terpene profile that creates a unique blend of flavors. Humulene adds a mild honey flavor, while phellandrene adds a pleasant apple and rose flavor. Many consumers also note tastes like:

  • Earthy
  • Fruity
  • Lemon
  • Sour
  • Woody

Common Effects

It is very energizing and makes you very concentrated. In this state, you can undoubtedly solve even the most complex puzzles. You will also be quite talkative and cheerful, which will make it much easier for you to communicate with people. The buzz will be just that until the very end. From time to time, however, you will giggle. You should never smoke cannabis before bed, as its energizing effects are unlikely to make you fall asleep. Weed can also cause hunger and anxiety.

Tips for Growing

Unfortunately, the creator of the Dragon OG weed strain did not make his brainchild widely available. You will have to work hard to get at least clones. Due to the rarity of marijuana, it is challenging to estimate the difficulty of growing a plant. We know, however, that this is a tiny bush, up to 30 inches. Marijuana has a short maturation period and can produce crops as early as eight weeks. You can get up to 300 grams of yield per plant with proper care.

Dragon Og Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 11.83 - 16.49%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.02 - 0.29%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.08 - 0.59%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.35 - 1.34%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.07 - 0.29%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.46 - 0.99%

Dragon Og Terpene Profile

Humulene Humulene (also known as α-humulene) is one of the major terpenes found in cannabis, contributing to woody, earthy, spicy, herbaceous, and, mainly, floral aromas of cannabis. Used in modern medicine, humulene offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and appetite suppressant effects, which have been well-researched by pharmaceutical companies. 0.33%
Limonene Limonene (also known as d-limonene) is the second most common terpene in nature and the third most common terpene in cannabis. It has a powerful citrus aroma and can be found in all citruses, including lemons, oranges, grapefruits, limes, juniper, etc. Limonene is known to elevate moods and provide anxiety, depression, and stress relief. 0.17%
Phellandrene Phellandrene (also known as alpha- and beta-phellandrene) is one of the rare terpenes found in cannabis with antihyperalgesic and antidepressive properties. Phellandrene contributes to a minty, woody, and mildly citrus aroma in cannabis. Previously confused with limonene and pinene, phellandrene was eventually distinguished as a separate terpene common for eucalyptus. Also, it could be found in mint, dill, black pepper, cinnamon, parsley, pine, and lavender. 0.5%
