Pb&J also known as PBJ is an evenly balanced hybrid strain with a sweet taste that reminds of peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It smells of herbs and spices, with notes of rich nutty pine.

Growing a 50-50 hybrid always tenses me up because what if i do something wrong and ruin it? Anyway, I will be looking up the growth process online step by step. or I could also consult one of the experts at my local dispensary. I have to get the perfect crop this round.

All About PB&J Weed Strain

Genetics Info

Pb&J strain is a cross between Peanut Butter Kush and LA Confidential. The THC ratio found in plant ranges from 10 up to 17%. Such a number makes it a good option for experienced smokers. Newcomers might like choosing less potent options to get started with. The buds are forest green in color, covered with dozens of sparkly trichomes. The CBD ratio is as low as 0.75%. Terpenes found in plant are myrcene, caryophyllene, pinene, and humulene.

Pb&s Strain Effects

PBJ is a perfect choice for a morning and a daytime smoke when you want to hang out outdoors with family or friends. The high brings an immediate uplift which is followed by a happy relaxation. It boosts energy and motivation without causing too much arousal. If overdosed, it might lead to a dizziness and fatigue. The high will make you ready to get up and move. You focus, yet, won’t be sharp enough to concentrate on something in particular. In medical terms, cannabis helps to cope with muscle spasms, hypertension, phantom limb pain, anxiety, and fatigue.

Typical effects:

  • Energetic
  • Aroused
  • Uplifted
  • Talkative
  • Creative

Growing Tips

The PBJ blooming period lasts from 51 to 58 days. An average height of a plant ranges from 30 to 60 inches. This cannabis strain does well both inside and outside the greenhouse.

if I had Colombian Jack and PB&j, i'd go wth the former. Main reason is I use weed to induce better sleep and PB&J just doesnt cut it. I take two inhales from my fav snow white bowl and end up strung out for hours. I feel all excited yes but the main goal was sleeping!

there is a multitude of people who think this weed is the bomb. probably even give some good reviews on how it is on their top lists. i get them, it can be a bit dazzling when you use it that first time. but then it soon loses its appeal and you find yourself faced with yet another hybrid with a high that is plainly mediocre.

Yeah, I had a grand old time with this one. I was vaping it through a cousins wedding and what a way to get to know people. I ended up talking with so many people and having hands down the best time of my life. I also hit the dance floor a couple of times even though I have two left feet.

I appreciate the flavors that these hybrid strains come in. I for one love PB&J and smoking a blunt of this had me feeling like i was eating the actual thing. Well that ended up with munchies and me making the sandwich but all in all great potent stuff.

i currently have a whole lot of these babies in my greenhouse. They are not as demanding as some other weed stalks I have grown over the years. Especially with pruning and watering. They are my first low-maintenance grow which I find to be AMAZING.

When you hear about hybrids there is always a story about how it was activating and energizing. Well, here I am yet again to reiterate this. I found this balanced hybrid to bee a hell of a mood booster. Immediately after I started inhaling from my plastic bong bottle, which I made by myself, I felt this urge to start doing the chores around the house. amd in a few hours I was done and ready to take another hit.

Pb&J Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 10.28 - 16.94%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.15 - 1.38%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.4 - 0.64%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.43 - 0.92%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.49 - 0.21%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.35 - 0.7%
