Thin Mint Cookies cannabis (aka Thin Mint GSC) is a legendary Girls Scout Cookies phenotype that became a backbone for lots of strains. Almost purely even hybrid of marijuana stars Durban Poison and OG Kush amazes users with a fresh aroma and balanced effects. This marijuana became a finisher at Seattle Cannabis Cup in 2014.
I had this in shatter, mint flavor prevails in this strain, on the exhale it has sweet, earthy undertones.
The parenting lineage brought to Thin Mint Cookies peppery terpene caryophyllene which is predominant in this weed. It also contains limonene that makes scents citrusy and pinene terpene that produces aromatic pine hints. Generally, users describe the fragrance and flavor as sweet and minty reminding of cookies and leaving a peppery aftertaste.
Thin Mint Cookies cannabis can be consumed at any time of the day, according to reviewers. But novice users who don’t want to get overwhelmed should better steer clear because the potency might reach up to 19% - 22% THC.
As a balanced hybrid, it produces both cerebral and sedative high. Sativa effects kick in with a potent, heady euphoria that uplifts mood and leaves no chance to depression or stress. The senses sharpen with this cannabis, making colors brighter, food tastier and music more enjoyable. The creativity and focus boom are also common with this GSC phenotype. While the mind is staying stimulated, the body melts down with the relaxation. The blissful warm sensation spreads from head to toe and relieves chronic and severe pain, muscle tension and spasms. Thin Mint Cookies strain is a perfect aid for insomnia as its sedative properties bring on sleepy vibes. The appetite boost and digestive problems disappearing are also typical with this marijuana.
The seeds are available at most online and offline shops. The herb doesn’t require a lot of experience in breeding as long as some special treatment. Breeders can get the harvest within approximately 9-10 weeks.
THC | Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. | 21.5 - 24% |
CBD | Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. | 0.46 - 0.68% |
CBC | Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. | 0.49 - 1.4% |
CBG | Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. | 0.24 - 1.18% |
CBN | Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. | 0.1 - 0.29% |
THCV | Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. | 0.26 - 1.56% |
Pinene | Pinene is one of the most widespread terpenes in nature, found in pine trees, basil, nutmeg, parsley, and rosemary. Cannabis containing terpene (alpha-pinene or α-pinene) boasts a strong pine scent. Pinene is responsible for anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-anxiety effects. | 0.25% |
Ocimene | Ocimene (derived from the Ancient Greek word Ocimum meaning basil) is a terpene with sweet and herbaceous flavors, also boasting citrusy and woody undertones. Bisabolol | Bisabolol (also known as α-Bisabolol or levomenol) is a lesser-known terpene found in cannabis. Attentive smokers would be able to catch a nutty, fruity scent with herbal and floral undertones, with a tender trace of coconut. | 0.14% |
Eucalyptol | Eucalyptol (also known as cineole) is usually found in eucalyptus, mint, sage, and tea tree oil. This terpene exhibits potent antibacterial effects and can also be used to treat patients with Alzheimer's disease and asthma. | 0.25% |
Terpinolene | Terpinolene is one of the most common terpenes found in cannabis; however, It's usually presented in small quantities. Is responsible for piney, floral, herbaceous, and even a little bit citrusy aroma of cannabis. Terpinolene can be found in lilacs, nutmeg, and cumin. I had this in shatter, mint flavor prevails in this strain, on the exhale it has sweet, earthy undertones.
fantastic weed, useful for sleeping disorders
Its a trippy and mental strain which is typical for the Durban genetics. Tastes like a mint candy with some berry notes. Very light and enjoyable. The high it gives is very pleasant, it makes me giggly and very sociable.
Its a hybrid but indica traces are highly noticeable. I feel pretty much relaxed but still functional. Good as an appetite booster. The flower I bought was tested at 20% THC but can be too strong for novices. Its a really stoney bud.
its good for dealing with migraine pain, but caused unexpected anxiety and sorta panic attack
I agree with allbud, it really has the most soothin aroma ever. I am quite experienced and hit it easily in the morning to have a nice, fresh day. We also pass it around with friends at parties
As leafly said, These buds are not for everybody guys. I couldnt sleep at all after smoking it
I love an easy, chill trip
The Kush has a phenomenal aroma and a nice, heady relaxed high
Light, preppy high
Would have loved it but my eyes burned. LIKE BURNEDD!!
