Kong strain is an Indica hybrid that is quite potent. It is a brainchild of South African breeder Holy Smoke Seeds and is a cross between Motavation and White Russian. The THC content of this strain has been measured to range between 12% and 20%. When properly cured, Kong strain's flowers bloom with a bright, lemony scent.
A choice between her and Trainwreck is really no choice. Despite the Trainwreck having higher THC level, kong still crushes me to the couch faster and better. It is like the weed understands my needs. Kong never fails to deliver.
When the cannabis buds are ground or broken, they release spicy hashy notes. When burnt, the flower burns with a smooth smoke with a citrus-tinged flavor when exhaled. The strain delivers a high that consists of a blend of sedation and invigoration cerebral reaction. Kong weed strain is also gaining popularity in the medical field for various uses like relieving insomnia and appetite loss. This is a high hitting weed strain and thus recommended for experienced smokers. It is most ideal for nighttime use.
THC | Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. | 19 - 21% |
CBD | Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. | 0.12 - 0.52% |
CBC | Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. | 0.2 - 0.56% |
CBG | Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. | 0.26 - 0.9% |
CBN | Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. | 0.24 - 0.24% |
THCV | Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. | 0.22 - 1.23% |
Pinene | Pinene is one of the most widespread terpenes in nature, found in pine trees, basil, nutmeg, parsley, and rosemary. Cannabis containing terpene (alpha-pinene or α-pinene) boasts a strong pine scent. Pinene is responsible for anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and anti-anxiety effects. | 0.19% |
Ocimene | Ocimene (derived from the Ancient Greek word Ocimum meaning basil) is a terpene with sweet and herbaceous flavors, also boasting citrusy and woody undertones. Naturally, ocimene occurs in mint, parsley, orchids, hops, kumquats, mangoes, basil, bergamot, lavender, and pepper. Offers antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties. | 0.31% |
Phellandrene | Phellandrene (also known as alpha- and beta-phellandrene) is one of the rare terpenes found in cannabis with antihyperalgesic and antidepressive properties. Phellandrene contributes to a minty, woody, and mildly citrus aroma in cannabis. Previously confused with limonene and pinene, phellandrene was eventually distinguished as a separate terpene common for eucalyptus. Also, it could be found in mint, dill, black pepper, cinnamon, parsley, pine, and lavender. | 0.44% |
Caryophyllene | Caryophyllene (also known as beta or b caryophyllene) is a terpene found in many herbs and spices, such as black pepper, basil, rosemary, and oregano. Cannabis high in caryophyllene delivers a strong spicy, peppery aroma, resembling cinnamon and cloves. Caryophyllene offers potent anti-inflammatory and sedative effects. | 0.06% |

A choice between her and Trainwreck is really no choice. Despite the Trainwreck having higher THC level, kong still crushes me to the couch faster and better. It is like the weed understands my needs. Kong never fails to deliver.
I felt confused and panicking when I smoked a pre-roll. Then I noticed I was lazy to get up or do anything. I slept for about thirty hours. It was insane, like I was buried under a truck and forgotten.
I decided to try it because it scored well for depression, insomnia and nausea. I have enjoyed it so far and I am getting more. The woody and citrus aroma reminds me of days when I had extra time on my plate. I go hiking into the woods, it was my calm place.
I have struggled with sleeping for about 5 months. This is after I was diagnosed with PTSD due to a robbery incident. I smoke this bud in the evening when I am ready to go to bed and sleep comes faster. I also stay asleep longer.
If I need a day to be lazy and indoors, this is the bong that will be lit. The feeling is even crazier on rainy nights, the sound of the rains sounds like a lullaby luring me into a deep and peaceful sleep.
I am so happy that I lose track of time. I also lose track of stressful thoughts
The high starts from the head and slowly spreads like a warm blanket enveloping a body.
Breaking up the buds gives interesting aromas of spice and hash that are sweet to the nose.
It has serious power, it can knock out an experienced smoker with its intense couch locking effect
Smoke is smooth on exhale and has a citrus flavor with a hint of spice.
Flowers have a flowery scent
I love to unwind with this pot
Kang upsets my digestive tract
Good vibes!!
This is a quick and hard hitting strain, perfect for when you want to chill.
I consider Kong to a nighttime strain. It is a perfect choice when you want to kick back and relax after a tiresome day. It only takes a few minutes for the high to kick in and send you into a deep sleep. I love it!
It takes around 15 minutes for the effects to kick in and when it does it leaves me aroused.
A great relaxing body high.
My favorite strain so far!
It always makes me dizzy!
The dopiest Indica strain I have tasted!
If you are dealing with chronic pain, I recommend this strain. It is a great body high and I find it to treat pain better than any other strain out there. It is also good for insomnia. I prefer vaping it over other consumption methods.
