Dolato strain is the child strain of Do-Si-Dos and Gelato #41. This Indica-dominant hybrid strain also goes by the names Dosi-Lato and Do-Si-Lato. This marijuana has a THC content ranging from 21% to 23% and CBG going up to 2.05%. With limonene as the dominant terpene, it offers fruity flavors that are sure to be appreciated by those who like sweet-tasting strains.

Main Effects of Dolato

With its mostly Indica nature, this cannabis is great to get some relaxation going in your body and mind. It offers the following effects:

People who consume this one report feeling sedated, letting all their worries go away. Whether you prefer to smoke the weed or incorporate it into a nice edible treat, you will find yourself want to lay back and have a slow night. The ideal time to consume this weed, therefore, would be the late evening or night. Its THC content makes it not ideal for consumption by beginners though. If you are a beginner and the Dolato strain is too strong for you, better choose Skittles strain - also an indica-dominant hybrid with similar effects, but the THC level is lower.

The good news is that Dolato strain does not have too many side effects. Some consumers report experiencing a dry mouth and dry eyes, but not much more than that. Because of its calming effects as well as only slight side effects, it can prove to be effective for patients suffering from issues like chronic pain, stress, and anxiety.

Dolato Weed Strain Aroma and Taste

Dolato has the following terpene profile:

  • Limonene
  • Phellandrene
  • Terpineol
  • Bisabolol
  • Nerolidol

When you crack open the buds, you will smell an aroma of pine combined with other earthy notes. This initial burst of earthiness and pine come from the combination of terpineol and nerolidol. The sweet aroma also has notes of citrus in it introduced by Limonene and Phellandrene, leading to a very pleasant scent that can fill up a space. The taste of this marijuana strain is mostly that of sweet lavender. This is largely thanks to both terpineol and bisabolol, both of which add strong flowery notes to the taste.

Dolato Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 23.5 - 26%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.3 - 0.53%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.43 - 0.99%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.22 - 1.04%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.15 - 0.19%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.23 - 1.01%
