Super OG, or Super OG Kush, is a rather mysterious strain. It was first created by Spanish breeders Pyramid Seeds. They crossed Hindu Kush and OG Kush. This marijuana is an Indica dominant hybrid. Some sources attribute Super OG to very different breeders from Los Angeles. They reportedly crossed Tahoe OG Kush and Skywalker OG to create their own cannabis strain.

Holy cow! The smell is just as I like - diesel, chemical, with citrus and fruity notes. Great high, great taste. Good stress reliever.

Super OG Strain Information

Main Taste and Smell of Super OG Strain

Speaking of its scent, many smokers love Super OG for its earthy, citrusy aroma. The smoke is not harsh and does not cause coughing fits. The taste is slightly different because there is a distinct berry flavor.

Effects of Super OG Bud

The THC level is, in most cases, 14% of the content. Like any Indica, Super OG strikes almost immediately. Consumers say they felt energized. The mood suddenly became good, often even euphoric. However, in some cases, negative effects appear in the form of dry eyes. Super OG marijuana is suitable for combating depression and headaches. Also, after the peak point of high, many felt drowsy, this strain also helps with insomnia. What's more, the high increases hunger, relieves stress and relaxes muscles.

Grow Tips

Growing can be called medium in complexity. The plant does well both indoors and outdoors. Despite being resistant to most pests, Super OG requires a lot of water and maintenance. The flowering cycle is approximately 7-9 weeks.

The strain is Indica-dominant and provides a good body relaxation. As a medical user, I smoke weed to ease my knee pain (sport trauma). That helps A LOT! I can’t say anything negative about Super OG… And yes, I did get a case of dry mouth.

Ive tried this weed with my lockdown friends during the pandemic this year. It gives giggles, takes away all problems, makes me happy and careless. Exactly what weve been looking for. A good trip. Worth giving a try.

Strain details

Super OG Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 11.81 - 16.39%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.02 - 0.29%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.32 - 0.5%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.29 - 0.91%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.3 - 0.19%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.42 - 0.65%
