City Slicker is a 100% Indica strain bred by Motarebel Seeds. Actually, the name of this cannabis describes a person who is accustomed to a city lifestyle and unsuited for country life. This marijuana is rich in numerous cannabinoid compounds synthesized by the plant:

  • 0.2-0.55% CBC
  • 0.34-1.49% CBG
  • 0.2-0.75% THCV
  • 0.27% CBN
  • 0.39-0.82% CBD

The level of THC in this phenotype is 18% but can vary from 15% to 21%, depending on a breeder. The strain can be overwhelming to novices and is recommended to be used by people who are not new to marijuana consumption.

Aroma, Flavor, and Main Terpenes

The terpene profile makes the City Slicker strain smell like fresh lime and grapefruit due to myrcene and limonene. The linalool terpene adds rose and tobacco notes. There is also a slight skunky touch as a top layer.

Common Effects of City Slicker

This cannabis features a boatload of therapeutic effects, making it a popular choice for both recreational and MMJ users. It increases sociability and gives smokers an energy boost, providing them with a creative and focused state of mind. Some consumers may get tingling sensations throughout the body, while in certain individuals, the weed can induce hunger. It shows the best results if consumed in the afternoon.

The City Slicker strain is also renowned for its potency to alleviate symptoms of the following conditions:

  • Anxiety
  • Fatigue
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Depression
  • Muscle spasms

The strain’s ability to increase appetite can be a downside for some users and lead to excessive hunger, making it a side effect. Other possible negative reactions may include fatigue and slurred speech.

Growing Information

The strain is an easy variety to cultivate, since the plants require moderate attention. As the plants move through the flowering stage (approximately 72-84 days), they stack beautiful trichome-covered, ball-sized buds that emanate a pleasant odor. The buds come with a purple undertone and are very photogenic. In 91 days after germination, expect to get high yields (1-2 oz./ft2 for indoor and 2-3 oz./ft2 for outdoor plants). As a photoperiod type, this strain depends on the changes in the light cycle. This affects even the height of flowers, which reach less than 30’’ if grown in a greenhouse and 60’’-80’’ if cultivated in the open air.

City Slicker Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 15 - 21%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.39 - 0.82%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.2 - 0.55%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.34 - 1.49%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.02 - 0.27%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.2 - 0.75%

City Slicker Terpene Profile

Myrcene Myrcene (also known as β-myrcene) is one of the most common terpenes found in cannabis, representing more than 20% of the modern marijuana terpene profile. Myrcene has a distinct earthy, musky flavor, resembling cloves. It is responsible for calming and soothing effects of weed. Myrcene is also found in hops, thyme, mango, lemongrass, guava melon. 0.56%
Limonene Limonene (also known as d-limonene) is the second most common terpene in nature and the third most common terpene in cannabis. It has a powerful citrus aroma and can be found in all citruses, including lemons, oranges, grapefruits, limes, juniper, etc. Limonene is known to elevate moods and provide anxiety, depression, and stress relief. 0.22%
Linalool Linalool (also known as beta linalool, linalyl alcohol, linaloyl oxide, and p-linalool) is one of the rarest terpenes found in cannabis, mostly in small quantities. Linalool is known for its spicy and lavender aroma, bringing relaxation and calming effects. It is also said to provide anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that can be useful for athletes. 0.22%

Its a great bud with very nice calm effects. Good body high has a positive effect on stress and mood swings, also good buds density. It can be a little dry occasionally, but I guess that could depend on the batch.

I usually have body highs but nothing came form this one. Maybe its just because the batch was lighter, I dont know.
