Strawberry strain takes its origin far from the Netherlands. It has become a parenting strain for lots of crowd favorites. This user-friendly strain is not high on THC. Its average levels range around 15%. Both first-starters and experienced users enjoy its euphoric high.

Strawberry weed is mostly Sativa, and it maintains all typical-Sativa properties. The Strawberry cannabis high is mood uplifting, funny, talkative and creative. This energizing state is usually accompanied by mild body buzz and followed by a relaxing sensation.

Users prone to paranoia or anxiety love Strawberry marijuana because it doesn't have such side effects, unlike other THC strains. On the contrary, this weed helps alleviate all depressive thoughts, stress, anxiety, and relax the body and mind. In some cases, it may cause a couch-locked effect.

The odors of the strain are expectedly fruity and berry-like, especially strawberry. But some users note the overtones of sweet cream and earth on the background.

Strawberry plants are also friendly to cultivators that are starting their experience. The flowering time is from 8 to 9 weeks indoors and outdoors.

Strawberry Strain Cannabinoids

THC 14.75 - 17.5% Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component.
CBD 0.54 - 0.73% Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps.
CBC 0.18 - 0.85% Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
CBG 0.06 - 0.88% Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure.
CBN 0.2 - 0.28% Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss.
THCV 0.14 - 0.7% Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V.

not as potent as other sativa-indica hybrids but good enough. it has helped with my back pain but it came right back when the effects faded away. the taste is the biggest benefit but other than that, there are better strains out there...

I prefer this strain to others because I love strawberry. Apart from the flavor, this strain gave me just the right high. It wasnt long-lasting but the effects were enough for me. All in all, I would smoke this again.
