Purple Pie is a fairly rare Sativa-dominant hybrid strain by Stoned Ninja, a grower in California. This company crossed GSC with Ninja Fruit and was the first to breed and patent this marijuana. Smokers like Purple Pie because it is unique cannabis with powerful effects from both parents, as well as an interesting taste.

This cannabis strain has been of great help to me. Helped me deal with PTSD and I cant believe I managed to get out of that dark place. Would like to encourage people to try the alternative medical value of cannabis. If used well it has great power to heal various ailments.

All About Purple Pie Weed Strain

This strain has a sweet fruity, slightly herbal, and spicy aroma, with notes of diesel, earth, and dampness. It retains that pungent aroma even after harvest, yet Purple Pie tastes exceptionally smooth.

Purple Pie Strain Effects

Purple Pie weed got its effects from female GSC and left no one indifferent. At the very beginning, it promotes mental relaxation with feeling euphoria, enjoying life, and creativity. Then comes a gradual but quite strong body high. Very relaxing and settling in the muscles, it even can sometimes provoke couch-lock. Some smokers reported feeling absolutely peaceful, but despite the strong relaxing effects, they remain fully conscious. This is why they like to smoke Purple Pie weed strain at the end of the working day while watching their favorite TV show. Side effects include only mild dry mouth.

It is important to mention that because of Purple Pie's powerful effects and its potency of around 21-23%THC, it is inappropriate for novice smokers. But this marijuana successfully helps patients in the treatment of chronic pain and depression, stress, mood swings, severe headaches, loss of appetite, and nausea.

Grow Info

Unfortunately, Purple Pie strain seeds are not available as feminized seeds in online stores for breeders. Therefore, there is no breeding information on the Internet too. If you have a growing experience with these flowers, we will be glad if you share it with us.

Strain details

Purple Pie Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 15.5 - 16.75%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.38 - 0.54%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.18 - 0.24%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.18 - 0.24%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.04 - 0.11%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.1 - 0.19%
