Big Bang strain's genetics can be traced years ago when it was developed through many crosses. The breeders from Green House Seeds tried to combine the almost pure Indica character of Northern Lights with the El Niño strain and added some Skunk. Then breeders added Ruderalis to ensure the final seeds would grow automatically in any condition and season.

Big Bang marijuana was specifically bred to have a very short flowering time indoors that takes only 42 days from seed to harvest. The Big Bang seed requires a week less to be harvested when grown outdoors.
