Bubba Kush marijuana is a very powerful and well-known strain. Its genetics and parental strains are unknown, but rumors say Matt Burger bred this cannabis by accidentally crossing OG Kush and another Kush. The result is an Indica-dominant hybrid that is loved by many. There are two types of seeds for this strain: Bubba Kush seeds autoflower and Bubba Kush seeds feminized.

Information for Growers

It is best to use a hydroponic station for growing. The plant does not require special attention and care, any high-quality fertilizers will do. Flowering time is approximately 7-9 weeks and it produces an average yield. The looks of the Bubba is odd – it has those dark green broad leaves, which suggests its Afghani origin and big buds. Bubba Kush yield is average, not too big, not too small, perfectly in the medium range. The buds are dark green with light strings all over the place and some golden orange hairs here and there. It looks impressive with its rich coloration.

Like O.G Kush the growing level of this legendary cannabis is moderate. Had some major difficulties with one or twi parts of the process but in the end, I managed because I had a cheat code. The cheat code is my aunt, who has a whole garden of marijuana.

I am growing bubba kush. It looks NOTHING like the photos I have seen or the photo on the packaging/ The flowedrs are black and white. The blackness runs through the sugar leafs. Only in sunlight can see see it is a very dark VERY dark purple. I spoke to where the seeds come from and they say it is a pre 1996 strain, but I would really love to knpw what I have???

Honestly, this is one of my top 5 favorite strains! It has amazing effects that come strong within three hits and you start feeling relaxed. The cerebral effects are less noticeable but you can expect to experience a gentle sense of mental tranquility and euphoria. This strain is obviously best for evening use due to its strong sedative effects.

I don’t agree with Leafly and most reviews here when they say that it makes you sleepy. It didn’t make me sleepy at all, in fact I was ready to head out and eat, lol! I headed to my fav diner and ordered a share for two! I love this dope.

delivers a good punch to the brain. This is one of the most potent strains that I have ever tried. It delivers a full mind and body high almost immediately. No doubt this is a strong indica that will knock you out within 20 minutes so avoid smoking it in public. if you are in search of something to help with insomnia then this is it.

Strain details

Bubba Kush Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 19.75 - 21.5%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.9 - 1.05%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.29 - 0.66%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.22 - 1.34%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.12 - 0.3%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.24 - 0.91%
