Scarlet Queen strain is a Sativa dominant hybrid. Growers from SubCool's The Dank crossed Killer Queen and Space Queen to create this special strain with a great combination of flavor, aroma, and powerful effects to impress consumers and give them an unforgettable experience.

This strain has by far been the best for the daytime, just my opinion for anyone else who has PTSD/ anxiety. Definitely not a strain for a beginner though, especially if you need it during the day to function like I do. Excellent effects when paired with the tincture “rise” for day time too.

Scarlet Queen Strain Produces Some of the Most Resinous Buds

This cannabis tastes delicate fruity, but not too sweet, with spicy and a little sour notes. Its aroma is a lot like taste and full of earthy and coniferous scents.

Effects

Scarlet Queen weed strain helps patients suffering from chronic pain, depression, and mood swings. Its high average potency of around 20-23% THC contributes to a powerful yet relaxing high. In the beginning, a slight feeling of euphoria envelops the consciousness, and the mood improves. The flight of imagination spurs creativity and reflections. Just a few puffs are enough to plunge into a feeling of complete calmness while the head remains clear. Some users report mild arousal and numbness in the body and a time dilation feeling. Side effects include mild anxiety and dry mouth.

Scarlet Queen is better for experienced smokers, mostly in the evening to relax mentally after a hard day's work.

Growing Scarlet Queen Strain

Scarlet Queen growers find it a difficult and picky strain that requires profound knowledge and a rich experience. It is exclusively suited for outdoor cultivation in tropical and subtropical climates such as Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Afghanistan, India, and Thailand. Scarlet Queen herb gives an average harvest, most commonly in September or October. Its flowering time is about 55 days.

The strain is available online for growers, but only as regular, not feminized seeds.

Strain details

Scarlet Queen Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 20 - 22%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.56 - 0.89%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.3 - 1.05%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.26 - 2.04%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.1 - 0.26%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.49 - 1.64%
