A bit finicky in early stages but rewarded with sweet, flavorful buds
Frankly speaking, I woundn’t say that mid-October is a good timing for harvest collection. At least my cotton candy seeds feminized developed right in time, and the flowers were mature by early October. This saved my yields, as mid-October was already with unstable night temperatures, and my friend’s crops died because of early frosts. I would recommend collecting the buds by the end of September
Guys, 1 kg of buds per plant is real! I am a seasoned grower but dealt with Cotton Candy for the first time. I used super soil and planted the germinated seeds into a mix of super soil with ordinary soil. Nothing special, I would say – no extra treatment or sophisticated fertilization. Yet, my plants (I had a pack of three seeds) gave me 3.4 kg of dense, citrusy buds. More than enough for the long autumn evenings!

This weed is optimal for growing in mild and temperate climates, but don’t forget that Sativas love plenty of sunlight. My cotton candy seeds feminized developed pretty well, and the young plants grew healthy and robust. Had some problems with pests because of outdoor growing, but organic remedies helped pretty quickly. The harvest was lower than average – early colds didn’t allow my plants to mature the way they should. Will plant Cotton Candy indoors next time
What I like about Cotton Candy the most is its floral, sweet aroma with shades of citrus and berries. Easy to grow, pleasant to consume, an ideal combo!
