Black Cherry Soda is a 60/40 Sativa dominant hybrid that derives its name from a tempting flavor and a peculiar taste that are reminiscent of fruity soda. In addition, the plant buds feature an unusual dark purple shade and resemble ripe cherries. The direct lineage of the weed remains a mystery, only potential parent strains are known. The strain is very potent (21-23% THC) and can be recommended for skilled users. On the contrary, the CBD level is not high and comes to 0.67-1.45%.

Growing Information

As mentioned above, the plants are very beautiful. They bear dark purple buds that mix well with light green shades and are covered with frosty trichomes.

This is a photoperiod cannabis plant, which means it allows growers a certain degree of control over its development and growth.

The plants give medium to big yields. Expect to harvest 0.5-1 oz./ft2 from the weed which is grown indoors, and 1-2 oz./ft2 if you have an outdoor garden. With a flowering cycle ranging from 50 to 60 days, the Black Cherry Soda strain is ready to yield 66 days after germination. The plants are quite tall (30’’-60’’ high).

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.06 - 0.18%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects.
