Captain Dank. This costume can be purchased online, but you can also make it yourself with very little trouble. All it needs is a green shirt, a large piece of darker green cloth to tie around your shoulders as a cape, and green felt the same color as the cape to cut into a mask and cannabis leaf for the shirt. It’s not over-the-top and can be worn by a guy who doesn’t like being flashy.

Costume Ideas for Men

Weed Boss. Getting high isn’t just for hippies anymore. If you’re going to a classier party, but still gotta show your love for the plant, you can purchase a suit covered in cannabis leaves. This can be bought online, or you can elevate one of your own suits.

The Dude. For lovers of the old lore, The Dude from The Big Lebowski is an easy costume to throw together. If you have the hair already, you’re most of the way there. Blunt. Sheets of brown packing paper, tape, and a brown body suit is all that’s needed for creating a blunt costume. You may be able to figure this one out yourself, but if you want ideas, you can visit Pinterest, YouTube, or other fine internet sites for ideas.

Weed Doctor. This one is super easy to do. Just dress in scrubs or nice slacks and a lab coat, borrow a stethoscope, and slap some cannabis cutouts on the lab coat. Bonus bags of weed can be stuffed in the pockets. If you want to get creative, make an oversized prescription pad that prescribes... weed.

Halloween Weed Accessories

You can probably find several excellent accessories among your own stuff. For instance, you can carry a large bong for almost any character. Here are a few other ideas:

Pot Head. This can be anything from a flower pot (extra points if you can manage to have some real or fake cannabis in it), or a big cooking pot worn as a hat.

Marijuana glasses. You can find these online at several retailers

Cannabis crown or lei. This can elevate a Poison Ivy costume or create a touch of fun for a bag of weed or hippie costume.
