Potency
Purple Diamond strain is a hybrid strain created by the cannabis breeder RedEyed Genetics. Although it has an elegant and cute name, it also possesses a strong effect. Its parent strains are Mt. Rainier, own strain of RedEyed Genetics, and Mendocino Purps awarded in High Times' Strains of the Year in 2007.
Its aroma is a wonderful combination of berry and citrus notes. The flavor is just as delicious, with berries and lovely fruity notes added. Smokers experience a slight citrus aftertaste.
Purple Diamond Main Effects
This powerful Indica packs a potent punch of THC, which is close to 25%, so beginners should start with a small dose or avoid smoking it. Purple Diamond’s high is euphoric, giddy, and energy boosting. It starts from the potent wave of creativity, making a smoker uplifted and happy. However, this effect does not last very long. As the body relaxes, it diminishes, providing a relaxing state. We recommend smoking Purple Diamond weed in the evening because the strain will help you get things done and then have a good rest before bed.
Purple Diamond Medical Effects
Those suffering from anxiety, stress, depression and chronic pain would benefit from this cannabis. Also, it helps to fight against loss of appetite. However, such side effects as dry mouth and slight anxiety may occur at high doses.
Purple Diamond Grow Info
You can buy Purple Diamond seeds in online stores. The herb can be cultivated indoors and outdoors, growers find it not very difficult to grow, its yield is medium and takes around 9 weeks to thrive.

Purple Diamond Strain Cannabinoids
THC | Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. | 22 - 25% |
CBD | Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. | 0.05 - 0.77% |
CBC | Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. | 0.45 - 0.62% |
CBG | Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. | 0.47 - 0.87% |
CBN | Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. | 0.05 - 0.2% |
THCV | Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. | 0.34 - 0.64% |
Purple Diamond Terpene Profile
Bisabolol | Bisabolol (also known as α-Bisabolol or levomenol) is a lesser-known terpene found in cannabis. It contributes to anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, antioxidant, anti-microbial, and analgesic properties of weed strains containing bisanol. Attentive smokers would be able to catch a nutty, fruity scent with herbal and floral undertones, with a tender trace of coconut. | 0.19% |
Nerolidol | Nerolidol (also known as trans-nerolidol) is a terpene found in jasmine, tea tree, and lemongrass, as well as in some cannabis strains. Nerolidol has a distinguished floral aroma with notes of citrus, apples, and rose. The terpene has sedative, anti-anxiety, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic, anti-oxidant, and pain-relieving properties. | 0.5% |
Caryophyllene | Caryophyllene (also known as beta or b caryophyllene) is a terpene found in many herbs and spices, such as black pepper, basil, rosemary, and oregano. Cannabis high in caryophyllene delivers a strong spicy, peppery aroma, resembling cinnamon and cloves. Caryophyllene offers potent anti-inflammatory and sedative effects. | 0.31% |

Not bad heavy feeling eyes droopy not wake and bake strain taste great.
Love it. It's smooth and taste just like purple Haze. Would recommend it. Great relaxer.
I LOVE the weed for the jump from energizing to relaxation.
There are too many factors affecting the plant, and you have not specified any. Aside from simple watering and sunlight, a plant can be demanding. I have never grown a Purple Diamond, but I think it was worth consulting with more experienced growers first
I got a terrible harvest of this marijuana. I think I should improve my skill. I think I did something wrong, but I really wanted to grow my favorite weed. Dont know if its worth trying again, maybe someone knows the solution to the problem?
This honey taste is too sweet, I didnt like it
I really needed a burst of creativity, so THANKS A LOT TO PURPLE DIAMOND
