The Captain's Cake strain is a hybrid (50% Indica / 50% Sativa) created by crossing the infamous LA Cake (delicious flavor and extremely potent high) and Goji Cake (amazing tropical fragrance) strains. Being a child of two powerful strains, the Captain's Cake weed contains only two terpenes known as myrcene and terpinolene. They give the marijuana its sweet grape taste with honey-like hints and cheese aftertaste. The Captain's Cake cannabis bud produces a potent high that first makes smokers feel uplifted and concentrated before putting them into a highly sedative state and total happiness. In combination with its potent effects and medium THC level that amounts to 10 - 12.5%, the Captain's Cake weed is suitable for new and moderate consumers.

Alongside THC, there are other cannabinoids in the strain that create the complete compositions. These include:

  • CBD 0.05 - 0.25%
  • CBC 0.41 - 0.7%
  • CBG 0.44 - 1.2%
  • CBN 0.09 - 0.18%
  • THCV 0.28 - 0.79%

Captain's Cake Strain Fragrance

With only two terpenes, the taste profile of the Captain's Cake strain is not so varied. However, myrcene, as one of the terpenes in the weed, is responsible for its sweet grape-like taste that is usually similar to the honey aftertaste. Terpinolene is the main terpene that gives the Captain's Cake marijuana cheese and pear undertones smokers will notice on the exhale.

Medical Uses of Captain's Cake

The high that the Captain's Cake strain throws quick hits in the front of the head, overwhelming the mind with a punch of happy euphoria. With an almost immediate onset, the Captain's Cake weed gives smokers an influx of creative energy that's very giggling in nature. Being talkative and concentrated for some time, you will notice that the Captain's Cake cannabis has potent soothing effects. Captain'S Cake Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 10 - 12.5%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.05 - 0.25%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.41 - 0.7%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.44 - 1.2%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.09 - 0.18%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.28 - 0.79%

without a huge tolerace to thc, it is not easy to find joints that can help me with my fatigue but I was lucky to find some Captain'S Cake. It does the trick while tasting very nice at the same time.
