Garlic weed strain, which is also known as Garlic Bud or Garlic Kush, is a pure Indica strain. It is a descendant of Afghani genetics that emerged thankfully to Sensi Seeds in the '90s.

The kush contains a pretty high THC level that ranges between 15-21%. Due to its high potency and odd flavors, it might not be the best choice for novice smokers. Smoking Garlic is recommended during nighttime because of its strong sedative properties.

Garlic Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 15 - 21%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 0.07 - 0.6%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.14 - 0.66%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.46 - 0.94%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.04 - 0.21%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.23 - 0.88%

As a beginner i was a bit anxious about trying a strain with over 15% THC buit my worries are gone. It is well balanced in a way that I wasn't drowning in the high. Instead i felt calm and relaxed in a way that had me concentrating on my school work. by the time it was wearing off, I had been immersed in a book for like three hours straight and i can remember eveything I read.

Before i get fully fledged as a pot connosseur all I can say is that this baby is the bomb. i try not giving advice people, but as a stoner that has tried a lot of plants this one is def worth everyone's time. I have been using it for fun and also for my migraines and all i can say is that it delivers like the potent bugger it is.

Some time in the spring my dad started complaining of back aches that just kept accelerating. We did some research and found that cannabis helps and started trying out different strains. We have settled for Garlic for a while. mostly because it has the right CBD and THC to make his pain DISSAPPEAR. I mean, he is back at mowing lawns when the edibvles kick in, something he had absolutely given up on.

Highly intoxicating. Keeled over in laughter right after smoking. A high with a strong excitable start, easing into a mellow giggly calm. Did not have the chance to get a whiff of the aroma (or wasn't paying attention), so cannot comment on the smell. Highly recommend.

One of popular strains due to its Afghani genetics. As a powerful Indica, it does the job. It has its name for a reason - the smell of the strain is spicy reminding me of garlic with distinct hints of earth and ammonia.
