Potency
Blue Cheese is an Indica-dominant hybrid strain. It is a representation of a cross between Blueberry male and U.K Cheese female. Originally, it was bred by Big Buddha Seeds from the U.K.
Bleu Cheese strain contains an average THC level that ranges between 15%-18% and a CBD level of about 1.2%. Due to its relaxing body and mind effects, it is the best for nighttime consumption. There are two types of seeds for this strain: Blue Cheese seeds feminized seeds and Blue Cheese seeds autoflower.
This weed emits an unusual, sharp scent, where fruity and berry flavors prevail, complemented with a particular, tangy hint of cheese. While inhaling, it is easy to feel an unexpected fruity mix of blueberry and herbs with some cheesy notes, which some people find resembling rotten vegetables. On the exhale, the funky taste of cheese disappears and leaves a sweet flavor of blueberry and fruits. The cannabis strain is quite odd and smoking it usually tends to cause coughing. When dealing with Blue Cheese weed strain, a grinder is a pretty useful thing, as its buds are rather hard to break up.
Blue Cheese Strain Possible Effects
Another reason for the popularity is its creeping high, which slowly puts both body and mind in a state of relaxation. It makes one physically and mentally calm with a slight feeling of euphoria, which gradually achieves drowsiness. However, the effects are comparatively gentle without providing coach-locks. If consumed in moderate amounts, the side effects are quite rare to happen, and if they occur, they are short and soft. On the other hand, in case of highly increasing a dosage, Blue Cheese strain may provide unpleasant effects, such as paranoia, dizziness, or coach-locks.
This cannabis strain also has a lot of medical properties, which can be beneficial for people suffering from excessive stress, anxiety, and depression. Thankfully to its Indica-dominance and relaxing effects, the kush is often used to treat insomnia and relieve minor aches and pains. Moreover, it is also helpful when having problems with appetite.
Grow Information
Blue Cheese strain seeds are available for purchase on the Internet. It is quite an easy plant to grow due to its natural resistance and decent yields of about 500-600 grams per square meter of the plant. But it also has some requirements and particular qualities, such as its pungent odor, which is quite noticeable. The plant also requires a lot of free space because it tends to grow more horizontally than vertically. And, it demands regular trimming of broad leaves on the top and a source of sunlight. It is possible to cultivate seeds both indoors and outdoors. The flowering cycle takes about 8-10 weeks when grown indoors, and the best time to harvest is in late September, when outdoors.

THC | Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. I love this strain because it does not leave you defenseless. If you smoke too much and you are in a daze, it will clear away. It encourages a healthy apetite and finds the balance between you and life.
This sativa strain is very potent in all sense. I love the hint of cheese in the aroma and in the taste of this pot. There is also this subtle flavor of blueberries and fruits…such a fruitilicious aroma.
