There are not many CBD rich strains on the market, but Marmalade cannabis is definitely one of them. With the denoted THC to CBD ratio, some variations may not respond to the description. Anyway, this equal hybrid by Solstice smells perfect and contains a high level of cannabinoids. It was created as a child strain of Blueberry Cheesecake and Sour Tsunami alliance.

The lineage taken after parents has given this cannabis a balanced mix of sweet and sour aromas. It smells and tastes like fresh berries with wildflowers honey, leaving after exhale a deliciously sweet aftertaste.

Its main effects are medicinal. Users describe Marmalade strain as an excellent cure for depression, anxiety, stress, and mood swings. They say it melts away all negativity and pessimistic thoughts, leaving smokers smiling and happy. Severe, nerve, chronic, or temporary pains become easier or even disappear with the help of this medicinal marijuana. It treats muscle tension, along with eye pressure from glaucoma. Headaches and nausea go away due to Marmalade weed's anti-inflammatory properties.

Consumers love it for its potency that can reach up to 17% THC, and pretty high CBD, though it can vary. Some reviewers note that they got high after only one toke and didn't need more. They described body relaxation and happy euphoria that provoked giggles in some cases. Without couchlock, it leaves the mind alert and focused, able to think, and to have conversations. Marmalade is good cannabis for any time of the day.

Unfortunately, the strain is rare, and there are neither available seeds on the market nor breeding information.

Marmalade Strain Cannabinoids

THC Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is a major cannabis chemical compound. It is a psychoactive element that stimulates dopamine release and induces euphoria or happiness. THC-rich strains may be helpful with such conditions as lack of appetite, chronic pains , etc. It is considered to be the primary active marijuana component. 17.67 - 19.67%
CBD Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major compound in cannabis, which is non-psychoactive. It is also proved to counteract the side effects of the second major component THC. CBD is widely used for medicinal purposes in rubs, oils and so on. It is helpful in muscle pain cases, may treat arthritis and migraines. Even Greeks used it against pain, while Queen Victoria applied it to get rid of menstrual cramps. 3.86 - 4.58%
CBC Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a minor cannabinoid, meaning that its quantity in cannabis is quite little. Though it has the same origin as CBD and THC, it is different in functions. Without any psychoactive effects, it is an efficient cannabis compound in combating acne and depression. CBC produces analgesic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. 0.32 - 0.78%
CBG Cannabigerol, or CBG, is one of the minor cannabis compounds in adult plants. On the other hand, young ones contain a lot of this antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component. During the growth, CBG is converted into different cannabinoids, mostly THC and CBD. The compound itself increases appetite and decreases eye pressure. 0.07 - 0.78%
CBN Cannabinol, or CBN, is a trace element in cannabis that is considered to be mildly psychoactive. It appears from oxidation THC, exposed to light and heat. CBN is mostly contained in old cannabis and in traditional hashish. It is effective against insomnia, bacterial infections and appetite loss. 0.06 - 0.22%
THCV Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THC-V, is a compound contained in cannabis in trace amounts. Even though it is close to THC molecularly, it is different in effects. This compound may be psychoactive only in large amounts. THC-V reduces blood sugar, controls appetite, stimulates bone growth, etc. African Sativa strains are the richest in THC-V. 0.34 - 1.23%

Since I learned that this is one of the more medicinal types of ganja to smoke, I decided to try it since I suffer from depression. It did help drive away my pessimistic and negative thoughts. It also helped ease the aches and pains I felt in my body.
